"PRAY THE THOUGHTS THAT I HAVE TOWARD THEM!" From God

 

Recently, God GRACIOUSLY  prodded my heart...

But, wow, let me tell ya- it was a knee-jerk experience!

I was struggling in my human way, with thoughts and opinions about an individual and individuals that were frustrating me. I know... I know - not good! Even though my opinions and thoughts were true, they were not right!

I finally was disillusioned, more so with myself about this, that I actually asked God to help me love them and move forward. 

Then it happened, I LISTENED -yes, I stopped and was STILL before my God of Whom had something to say. 

He said:

"PRAY THE THOUGHTS THAT I HAVE TOWARD THEM!"

I was HUMBLED, because I did have some ideas on what God's thoughts were toward them, and that was enough for me to realize that, truly, my flesh was heading the opposite direction.  

He also added and told me to add this prayer towards all my family, friends, co-workers, and even for MYSELF! 

The revelation that came was as we pray HIS MINDSET...we begin to truly KNOW the heart of God. We become transformed in our heart and mind. As we do, the way we think and speak will be a way that brings LIFE into our room, and  RESURRECTION into a world that is dying! 

All because we begin by praying God's thoughts towards others and ourselves. 

HERE IS A PRAYER LIST TO PRAY GOD'S THOUGHTS FOR OTHERS AND OURSELVES

HIS THOUGHTS ARE...

*Precious towards us Ps. 139:17

*To Prosper (not to harm) Jer. 29:11

*Give a HOPE & a FUTURE  "   "

*He cares 1 Pet. 5:7

*To be CONFORMED to His Image Rom. 8:28 

*To be HOLY without blame Ep. 1:4-5

*Walk in Good Works (purpose) Ep 2:10

*Saved & know God's truth 1 Tim. 2:3-4

*Obedient to His Word Ex. 19:5

*Be My Treasure             "     "

*Strong & Courageous  Josh. 1:9

*Know, I will be with you! "    "

*Established (plans) Prov. 16:9 / Ps. 37:25

*Acknowledge the Lord in ALL our ways Prov. 3:5-6

*To walk a straight (clear) path                    "      "

*Completion Phil. 1:6

*Trusting (with all your heart) Prov. 3:5

*Not Conformed to this world    Rom. 12:2
