PROFOUND TRANSFORMATION

Profound means a significant impact or change. And, indicating something thorough, absolute, or even intellectually penetrating.

Transformational means: an inward change from an old, sinful nature to a new life, driven by God's Spirit through the renewing of the mind and heart.

-Read especially Genesis 44-45 about Joseph & his brothers.

*Judah is the 4th son of Jacob & Leah.

*His Name means: "Praise" to the Lord! (Genesis 29:35): Leah exclaims, "This time I will praise the LORD!"

*He negotiated with his brothers in Genesis 37:26-27 to not kill Joseph, but sell him.

* He was involved in the deception to his father that Joseph was killed.

Let us look into the story of him pleading with Joseph for the life of Benjamin for his, as a substitute!

That act revealed his PROFOUND TRANSFORMATION!

In this story Judah now portrays humility & selflessness!

His plea broke Joseph’s heart. For Joseph saw a selfless man who had a deep love for their father Jacob and younger brother Benjamin.

This came by the Grace of God, who led Judah in life through hardship that was filled with many of life’s tough lessons.

At this very moment, when he stands before Joseph, he was pressed beyond measure, which results in deep love that came pouring forth.

It is possible for the hardest of souls to be changed to become more like our Jesus! Only a heart surrendered into the Hands of God, can be remade into a vessel of honor! As well as, be made into a servant ready and willing to lay oneself down for others!

Don’t give up praying for the prodigal person in your life!

Don’t give up on yourself!

Watch, as we surrender our heart to Jesus and allow Him to lead our lives and then: witness a transformation!
