Brad in the Hospital

I complained last week about being so busy; compared it to be on a merry-go-round; that I wanted to get off.

Didn't realize that I was speaking it: oh be careful little mouth what you say. Brad had a simple meniscus repair done on his left knee last Monday. Thursday night he was admitted to the hospital with a very large blood clot to the back of his knee. If it was any higher very likely he would not be here today.
They put him on blood thinners that resulted in the extra bleeding in his cavity where the surgery was done. This enlarged his knee to almost 3x the size. Giving him horrible pain...all types of pain killers were not getting it.
Here we are on Tuesday---the day to vote (which I so longed to do): and we are still in the hospital. Off that Merry-Go-Round! Not this way! I am ready to have my healthy dh back and running.
With him not working as well we have no income. But, the Lord is sending the Ravens...another article I shall write one day. He has sent many prayer warriors, people to take care of my girls from friends to grandparents, people filling up our gas tank, ones bringing food and yes funds to pay our bills.
The Lord had told me when I had to go for a walk not just concerning this but some ministry issues that are hitting close to our heart (honestly-hurtfully). He simply said: "Daneille, I love you! I am Your Father too...All is alright." As a Pastor I am constantly saying this to others...like I told a friend once--who Pastor's a pastor? My God...He sure does.
My Soul-Mate Pastor Brad Snowden
Thank you readers and friends for your support in so many ways. Just know, walk close to Him, trust Him and know; "He does work all things out for Good to those who love God and to those WHO ARE THE CALLED according to His purpose."

  1. Hugs and prayers for you all. My heart aches for you. Wish I was there to help, but I guess I need to do the best thing I know: Pray in earnest for your family!

  2. Things that happen in life can tend to make us "stop and smell the roses," sometimes in ways that hurt. But, God is with us as we go through it. Keep holding onto Him. You all continue to be in our thoughts and prayers.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                       ...

BRINGING PEACE TO YOUR HUSBAND

Two posts (blogs) ago I said I would continue to look at attaining true peace in our lives. [Sweet Tranquility] Then I promised you that I would continue to expound on having this peace spread through out our home beginning with ‘we’ ladies being the vessel of peace for our husbands.  As I have prayed over this, studied it in God’s Word and in other resources for quite awhile…my ending prognosis is that this study could continue for decades! Peace ; we pray for peace, it's our New Years Resolutions ...it is a salutation in most countries. Yet, everywhere we turn we only observe fruits of turmoil (opposite of peace).  In three thousand  three hundred and fifty years between 1500 B.C. and 1850 A.D. there were only 286 years spent without a war taking place on the globe somewhere. That's thirteen years of war for every year of peace. At that same period of time eight thousand peace treaties were broken.  Today;  2 million coup...

Living the Dream

I have probably one of the most 'spiritual' face book home pages around. My friends post scriptural banners, quotes, prayer requests & praises . I usually get a great up-lift reading my face book. Recently, it seemed many were writing about 'Dreams'. One really jumped out; basically they were challenging the thought (I believe fact) dreams are every day; what we are experiencing today, which is our family, friends, experiences, work, ministry and prayer times. I have always been a dreamer since I was a little girl. When I was little I loved the Walton's-needless to  say my dream then (get this now): was to be a writer, movie star, have 7 kids and live in a big house in the country. Uh huh...yup; unrealistic; but I sure loved the Walton's. Then, when I turned 12 yrs. old at church camp the Lord called me into the Mission Field. When I turned 14 yrs. old, the Lord gave me a heart for India; and was blessed with the opportunity of going there as well. ...
