FIRST AID KIT FOR MOM'S

 FIRST AID KIT FOR MOM'S
--For all moms finding themselves in need of a first aid response.
WHICH IS BASICALLY ALL THE TIME!
God: First of all we  must  determine who will be the FIRST RESPONDER. That is why God is listed at as #1 because His Word & time with Him is top priority. He says he shall never leave us nor forsake us. Just call on the Lord Jesus, and you shall be saved.
Bible-God's Word; administering a soothing balm to our weary hearts. Ahhhhh!
Peaceful Worship Music- Nothin like soothing music to bring peace to the soul and mind.
Bubble Bath- "Calgon take me away!"
Chocolate-Some say certain compounds in chocolate may be physiologically active, perhaps by inducing mood-lifting chemicals like serotonin or dopamine in the brain."Now, researchers have found that eating chocolate,  the number one food craved by American women, causes the brain to release endorphins, chemicals that make us feel good."
Tea or Flavored Coffee: We just like sipping and enjoying the warmth in our hands. Yet, it does relax the body. Loaded with antioxidants, protects the bones, increases the metabolism and IT'S CALORIE FREE!
Tylenol: Well, all mom's have those kind of days!
Perfumes/Lotions: Woman for centuries have always loved to smell like flowers, it makes us feel pretty. Lotions are an addition as well as the silkiness to our skin. Lotions give skin moisture and elasticity helping minimize the aging process! A big DAH there, what most woman long for ...minimize that aging process!  Fragrances  "...can lift spirits, enrich romance, improve ones mood (I like this one), and lead to an overall feeling of happiness. Fragrances help make life complete. They highlight the importance of the sense of smell, an often forgotten human attribute that, like sight and sound, adds a priceless vibrancy to the tapestry of life." [ Armen Hareyan ]
Silky Pajamas:   Ditto...soft and cuddly; will lead to lovely slumber.
NOW MAMA IS HAPPY, HER NEEDS ARE MET.
Not yet:
Family: No mother is complete in her heart without family near. That completeness will then bring about a true satisfaction and happiness thus mom shall  recover back to all God has created her to be.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                       ...

BRINGING PEACE TO YOUR HUSBAND

Two posts (blogs) ago I said I would continue to look at attaining true peace in our lives. [Sweet Tranquility] Then I promised you that I would continue to expound on having this peace spread through out our home beginning with ‘we’ ladies being the vessel of peace for our husbands.  As I have prayed over this, studied it in God’s Word and in other resources for quite awhile…my ending prognosis is that this study could continue for decades! Peace ; we pray for peace, it's our New Years Resolutions ...it is a salutation in most countries. Yet, everywhere we turn we only observe fruits of turmoil (opposite of peace).  In three thousand  three hundred and fifty years between 1500 B.C. and 1850 A.D. there were only 286 years spent without a war taking place on the globe somewhere. That's thirteen years of war for every year of peace. At that same period of time eight thousand peace treaties were broken.  Today;  2 million coup...

Living the Dream

I have probably one of the most 'spiritual' face book home pages around. My friends post scriptural banners, quotes, prayer requests & praises . I usually get a great up-lift reading my face book. Recently, it seemed many were writing about 'Dreams'. One really jumped out; basically they were challenging the thought (I believe fact) dreams are every day; what we are experiencing today, which is our family, friends, experiences, work, ministry and prayer times. I have always been a dreamer since I was a little girl. When I was little I loved the Walton's-needless to  say my dream then (get this now): was to be a writer, movie star, have 7 kids and live in a big house in the country. Uh huh...yup; unrealistic; but I sure loved the Walton's. Then, when I turned 12 yrs. old at church camp the Lord called me into the Mission Field. When I turned 14 yrs. old, the Lord gave me a heart for India; and was blessed with the opportunity of going there as well. ...
