SHINE JESUS!

Sun shining brightly seems to breath a feeling of a new hope and refreshing strength.
I was pondering how hopeful I feel with this lovely sunshine illuminating today, when  my loving Lord prompted me with this challenging thought; 'When basking in the Presence of the Son of God, worshiping and waiting on Him:  a confidence builds within that births great HOPE. Even when on the outside (of this special place) the dark storms pounding vehemently, COULD likely  give off  feelings of dreariness and hopelessness.YET, the child of God (who had spent time in the SON's Presence) will be filled with great hope and strength in that, the difficulties THAT DO COME will be that-difficult, but still will not take the joyful hope and strength that came with the Shining Presence of the Son of God experienced. If you are finding it difficult during your storms of life accompanied with those dreary dark clouds that bring your spirit very low; Go to your 'CLOSET', get alone with God and find this to be an awesome truth to apply!'
LET THE SON SHINE TODAY!
Remember when you do, it will then radiate on hearts who will  be touched with the securing warmth of God's love, strength and hope!
Join me now and sing this song of praise and promise as we bask in the Son today!
SHINE JESUS SHINE

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                                             MINI GIFTS WRAPPED IN A HANKIE Pocket knife, Voice of the Martyrs Pendant  & candy! Al

BRINGING PEACE TO YOUR HUSBAND

Two posts (blogs) ago I said I would continue to look at attaining true peace in our lives. [Sweet Tranquility] Then I promised you that I would continue to expound on having this peace spread through out our home beginning with ‘we’ ladies being the vessel of peace for our husbands.  As I have prayed over this, studied it in God’s Word and in other resources for quite awhile…my ending prognosis is that this study could continue for decades! Peace ; we pray for peace, it's our New Years Resolutions ...it is a salutation in most countries. Yet, everywhere we turn we only observe fruits of turmoil (opposite of peace).  In three thousand  three hundred and fifty years between 1500 B.C. and 1850 A.D. there were only 286 years spent without a war taking place on the globe somewhere. That's thirteen years of war for every year of peace. At that same period of time eight thousand peace treaties were broken.  Today;  2 million couples have used a lethal weapon on their spouses

Living the Dream

I have probably one of the most 'spiritual' face book home pages around. My friends post scriptural banners, quotes, prayer requests & praises . I usually get a great up-lift reading my face book. Recently, it seemed many were writing about 'Dreams'. One really jumped out; basically they were challenging the thought (I believe fact) dreams are every day; what we are experiencing today, which is our family, friends, experiences, work, ministry and prayer times. I have always been a dreamer since I was a little girl. When I was little I loved the Walton's-needless to  say my dream then (get this now): was to be a writer, movie star, have 7 kids and live in a big house in the country. Uh huh...yup; unrealistic; but I sure loved the Walton's. Then, when I turned 12 yrs. old at church camp the Lord called me into the Mission Field. When I turned 14 yrs. old, the Lord gave me a heart for India; and was blessed with the opportunity of going there as well.
