HE KEEPS ME FROM SINKING - PSALMS 145:14-19

HE KEEPS ME FROM SINKING - PSALMS 145:14-19

Daneille Gray Snowden just sharing a small devotional with you from the book of Psalms. I pray that this fills any void you may be experiencing right now. That this anointed word will increase your heart as you strive daily to walk only closer to your Lord.

Psalm 145:14-19

Amplified Bible (AMP)
14 The Lord upholds all those [of His own] who are falling and raises up all those who are bowed down.
The Lord of our lives, our loving Savior looks lovingly upon us. He see's our hearts, and our bodies plus He hears the cry of our hearts. It says that He UPHOLDS; this is-
to defend, as against opposition or criticism /to keep up or keep from sinking; support .
Isn't that absolutely so cool? This calms my soul, He is my support, my defense and will not allow me to sink.
He supports those of us who --ARE FALLING! I had those dreams (and I sure you have had them too) where I dreamed I was falling and falling; finally waking up before the actual kirthump. That initial fear of falling is so overwhelming. But, HE upholds us that are falling. He understands that sometimes we just have nothing else to hold us up anymore. God is saying; "That's ok- I got ya!"
He also raises up those who are BOWED DOWN. I think that majority of the time we humans are bowed down, even more than falling. Just wore out, bored, not excited about life anymore. But our God says; "No, no...there is so much more I have for you and your life. I am going to raise you up above all of this around you. Your head will no longer be bowed low."
15 The eyes of all wait for You [looking, watching, and expecting] and You give them their food in due season.
I so enjoyed sharing this portion of scripture with my children tonight. I told them that this reminded me when they were iddy biddy. When they would come to me really hungry wanting something to eat. Their eyes would not start wandering off of mama cause she was then busying her hands to make something tasty, yet healthy for her baby. With gazing eyes and hands outstretched they waited and expected mama to meet this request.
Father, help us all to LOOK-UP to you, watching and expecting You to fulfill what You have spoken to us in Your word. Here it says; "You give them their food in due season."
16 You open Your hand and satisfy every living thing with favor.
Isn't that just truly amazing? All our God has to do is OPEN HIS HAND! Favor: granted out of goodwill / the state of being approved / excessive kindness / a gift bestowed as a token of goodwill,
kind regard, loveetc.
17 The Lord is [rigidly] righteous in all His ways and gracious and merciful in all His works.
18 The Lord is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him sincerely and in truth.
The King of Kings, Lord (ruler) of our hearts is right here as well as right there where you are my friend, YOU ARE NOT ALONE! Call out on the Name of Jesus, He is longing for you to call.
19 He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worship fully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.
Fulfill! This is my word. I hate feeling unfulfilled.  It is what aches me more than anything else. It haunts my spirit and it is what can bring me down to my lowest pit. I know that God has created each and every soul for a high PURPOSE! God has called me out to be His servant. To love others into His Kingdom. To lay my life down for a friend. To lead many to the saving grace of Jesus.
There are many desires in each person, some have material desires, emotional and possibly desires for their careers. If they are birthed into your heart as you are in His Presence worshiping Him with all you are - His desires will be yours. There will also be a unity of heart, (thus Christ hearing your cry) do know that YOU WILL BE and are saved by His Hand.
Thank You God for this amazing portion of Your Word. We cling tightly to each verse and believe You do hear us and are UPHOLDING US. That indeed you will bring favor and fulfill the desires You have birthed within our hearts.
  Glory to God!

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                                             MINI GIFTS WRAPPED IN A HANKIE Pocket knife, Voice of the Martyrs Pendant  & candy! Al

LET US TRUST THE PROCESS OF PRUNING

Did you ever read this verse in John 15:2 and think, "that's extreme, can't we just hold onto these extra branches that grew once and bore amazing, fruit?" I have definitely !   Then life happens! In that life, we make a decision to dig deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Yet, as we do, we face obstacles (or that's what we called them) that challenged us to trust Jesus to do what He wills in our lives.  I believe this place is a milestone in the timeline of our lives. Will we continue to walk ever so close to the Lord, realizing as we do, He will prune us? Will we desire to be producers of His fruit and life flow through us? Many of us realize that this means more obstacles, cuts, bleeding, times of dormancy and simple hurt.  This is when the milestone comes; will we accept this pruning and be fruitful or just become branches that become brittle, and ragged?  A lot of questions to ponder, but I feel God wants to use each and everyone of His children in o

Thank You For Asking

(c)Daneille Gray Snowden 2022 Today, I was deeply touched in my heart when a dear friend asked how my husband was. I did not mention it first, out of the blue; she asked about something dear to my heart. This wasn't the first time as she has  asked about different matters in my life several times. May I tell you how that made me feel? It made me feel cared for, loved and set back how someone cares intensely about me and my life. How often do you personally experience such care and interest from others? And, as I ask myself this too; how often do we reach out and ask others how they are? When people as a whole reach out in such a way, we see the creation power of God as hearts are connected to one another and a strong foundation is beginning to be built for a lasting relationship.  I love it when I hear conversations in church  or in my home when I  listen to their questions of wanting to learn of others situations, experiences, needs and even joys. The questioner is totally focused
