WHEN HOPE DIES; HOPE WILL ARISE

WHEN HOPE DIES; HOPE WILL ARISE

The question is where does our HOPE lay? As we live our lives, we face many storms and strong currents that pull us down, over and over again. Yet, we are back on top again riding along the waves that come. We learn that we do not have to live in fear, but to keep our eyes on Him who will pull us out of the torrential waters into a safe haven with Him; Who is the Lord of all, Jesus!
Somethings in our lives, that have taken precedence over what God intended for us to prosper must die. Sometimes, we just face another END to a chapter in the book of our lives. Also, things that are staples in most people's lives are not be in ours and it is taken away. All of this is where we as humans tend to place our hope's in.
But let me tell you; there is a HOPE that is ALL POWERFUL, ALL PRESENT and ETERNAL and that is our Lord Jesus Christ! He had to die first, to then bring us ALL this amazing HOPE for our lives. Let things go, let people go by surrendering them all into the Hands of our Savior. Here you will find perfect peace and HOPE!
Happy Resurrection Day to all! May you discover the HOPE that arose!
"And now, Lord, what do I wait for and expect? My hope and expectation are in You."  Psalm 39: 7
"Be strong and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for and hope for and expect the Lord!"  Psalm 31: 24

"The Lord is my portion or share, says my living being (my inner self); therefore will I hope in Him and wait expectantly for Him." Lamentations 3: 24

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                       ...

BRINGING PEACE TO YOUR HUSBAND

Two posts (blogs) ago I said I would continue to look at attaining true peace in our lives. [Sweet Tranquility] Then I promised you that I would continue to expound on having this peace spread through out our home beginning with ‘we’ ladies being the vessel of peace for our husbands.  As I have prayed over this, studied it in God’s Word and in other resources for quite awhile…my ending prognosis is that this study could continue for decades! Peace ; we pray for peace, it's our New Years Resolutions ...it is a salutation in most countries. Yet, everywhere we turn we only observe fruits of turmoil (opposite of peace).  In three thousand  three hundred and fifty years between 1500 B.C. and 1850 A.D. there were only 286 years spent without a war taking place on the globe somewhere. That's thirteen years of war for every year of peace. At that same period of time eight thousand peace treaties were broken.  Today;  2 million coup...

Living the Dream

I have probably one of the most 'spiritual' face book home pages around. My friends post scriptural banners, quotes, prayer requests & praises . I usually get a great up-lift reading my face book. Recently, it seemed many were writing about 'Dreams'. One really jumped out; basically they were challenging the thought (I believe fact) dreams are every day; what we are experiencing today, which is our family, friends, experiences, work, ministry and prayer times. I have always been a dreamer since I was a little girl. When I was little I loved the Walton's-needless to  say my dream then (get this now): was to be a writer, movie star, have 7 kids and live in a big house in the country. Uh huh...yup; unrealistic; but I sure loved the Walton's. Then, when I turned 12 yrs. old at church camp the Lord called me into the Mission Field. When I turned 14 yrs. old, the Lord gave me a heart for India; and was blessed with the opportunity of going there as well. ...
