UNCOMPROMISINGLY RIGHTEOUS

UNCOMPROMISINGLY RIGHTEOUS
by Daneille Gray Snowden Nov. 4, 2014

As I shared a particular passage of scripture today with my facebook friends, this revelated into my soul! Two words that have been lost in the shuffle of our culture (compromise & righteous), and it seems as we stop to evaluate those around we see the battle of uncompromising God's standard of righteousness is waning. Today, this world needs: stubborn (YET LOVING) Christians, raising the standards high and not backing down, although they feel more and more alone in the fight. Unfortunately, it does at times feel as if it is a fight. The Word of God says "...we war not against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places." [Ep. 6:12]

Uncompromising making no concessions; inaccessible to flexible bargaining; unyielding, undeviating
Righteous: morally right or justifiable,  good, honest, fair, right

Today, here in America we vote for our political leaders. Being a democracy, thankfully we still have this freedom and privilege to do so. Obviously, uncompromising Christian/Biblical standards is a MUST as we vote for those who stand with God's written decree on how men and woman should live. Without delving deep; as we stand for the top two decrees of Biblical Marriage and Life in the Mother's Womb (i.e. not abortion). These two have been on the forefront  of political dispute for well over two decades. Watching our states crumble under the self-centered (self destructive) desire of yes, the ungodly to gay marriage is disheartening. What is very sad is those who attend church, as well as large denominations that were founded on holiness and belief in the total truth of God's Word have 'bowed-down' to these false gods. Churches being 'seeker-friendly' have watered the Truth of God's Word so it can fit into the life styles of all men and woman. When in fact the opposite is what God intended.

What is truly sad is the fact that men and woman think it's for their best to live the way they want to. But, "There is a way which seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death." [Prov. 14:12]

THEME VERSE: Ps. 5 v.4 " For You are not a God Who takes pleasure in wickedness; neither will the evil [man] so much as dwell [temporarily] with You.
6 You will destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors [and rejects] the bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
9 For there is nothing trustworthy or steadfast or truthful in their talk; their heart is destruction [or a destructive chasm, a yawning gulf]; their throat is an open sepulcher; they flatter and make smooth with their tongue.

11 But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits.
12 For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor)."
If you know Jesus Christ as your Lord (Ruler of your heart), then please delve into God's Word; study it through and through. God's Word will become a part of your own personality. What you dwell on, what comes out of your mouth and even what you do. It will be automatic how your standards will be HIS (God's) standards. With that, know that GOD WILL BE ON YOUR SIDE!
Don't be afraid of the ARMY THAT STANDS BEFORE YOU! ["Don't be afraid. Stand firm and see the LORD's salvation He will provide for you today; ..." Ex. 14:13] If INDEED more of God's Children stood strong, unwavering: maybe we could be used to usher in His Salvation for our country. It starts with prayer, praying for a revival. A cleansing from within our own churches, families, schools, and yes our governments. God help us!

In social media, I know I have observed the lifestyles of Christians that are no different than that of this world. Clinging to things that cause sin to be raised plus observed and not righteousness (morally right, and just). This is leading to a darker world for our children and all the generations to come. Yet, there is hope for all when we : "... which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land." [2 Chron. 7:14]
Allow me to challenge you today; be - UNCOMPROMISINGLY RIGHTEOUS and in turn the Lord WILL BLESS & SHIELD you with pleasure and favor!

GOD BLESS AMERICA! PRAY FOR THE U.S.A.!

  1. Wow That is rich and deep it is also challenging as a Christian to focus on what is truely important to the heart and not to the wallet ( so to speak). Thanks for this word of challenge.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                                             MINI GIFTS WRAPPED IN A HANKIE Pocket knife, Voice of the Martyrs Pendant  & candy! Al

LET US TRUST THE PROCESS OF PRUNING

Did you ever read this verse in John 15:2 and think, "that's extreme, can't we just hold onto these extra branches that grew once and bore amazing, fruit?" I have definitely !   Then life happens! In that life, we make a decision to dig deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Yet, as we do, we face obstacles (or that's what we called them) that challenged us to trust Jesus to do what He wills in our lives.  I believe this place is a milestone in the timeline of our lives. Will we continue to walk ever so close to the Lord, realizing as we do, He will prune us? Will we desire to be producers of His fruit and life flow through us? Many of us realize that this means more obstacles, cuts, bleeding, times of dormancy and simple hurt.  This is when the milestone comes; will we accept this pruning and be fruitful or just become branches that become brittle, and ragged?  A lot of questions to ponder, but I feel God wants to use each and everyone of His children in o

Thank You For Asking

(c)Daneille Gray Snowden 2022 Today, I was deeply touched in my heart when a dear friend asked how my husband was. I did not mention it first, out of the blue; she asked about something dear to my heart. This wasn't the first time as she has  asked about different matters in my life several times. May I tell you how that made me feel? It made me feel cared for, loved and set back how someone cares intensely about me and my life. How often do you personally experience such care and interest from others? And, as I ask myself this too; how often do we reach out and ask others how they are? When people as a whole reach out in such a way, we see the creation power of God as hearts are connected to one another and a strong foundation is beginning to be built for a lasting relationship.  I love it when I hear conversations in church  or in my home when I  listen to their questions of wanting to learn of others situations, experiences, needs and even joys. The questioner is totally focused
