WHAT TO PRAY FOR YOU DAUGHTER
by Daneille Gray Snowden

Our beautiful daughters are living in an age where femininity, purity, and living out the life as a Christian lady is an uphill battle. The images of woman are sadly displayed as gaudy, sexually active, loud & disdainful, plus more. The best example they could have is their own mothers.
In that, as godly mothers not only should we LIVE-OUT our testimony by how we act, dress, and talk; but how we pray!

We may have a teen girl, and it appears as if things have gotten way out of hand; instead of reacting in our 'self' -- we run to the ROCK. We intercede, sometimes we fast as we pray for our children, for ourselves and our entire family; praying through, and praying again. It is in this time the Lord aligns our heart and mind with His. In so doing, He will lead us in prayers for our children that we never have ever thought of before.

So, before I give you any suggestions...take a week where you focus your prayers for His leading on praying for your daughters. Each of us are uniquely made; God has a particular purpose for all of our lives. Yet, we ALL our HIS children...'all' means our own daughters too. Thus, realizing this can give us a charismatic passion to intercede with total surrender of our will, lives and children; and pray with great hope in the Will of the Heavenly Father.

HOW I PRAY FOR MY DAUGHTERS:
[I am blessed to have two lovely girls.]
1.) Cover them Lord Jesus with Your precious blood. The Blood of Jesus cleanses and purifies. Keeping their thoughts pure, their hearts pure is vital.
2.) Surround them with angels...keeping them safe. "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." Ps. 34:7

3.) They will grow into prayer warriors.

4.) They will grow daily in studying God's Word.

5.) They will be living evangelist of the Gospel of Jesus Christ = starting now.

6.) They will be servants & leaders.

7.) I pray for their 'Soul Mate' -- for HIM to be very 'in-love' with Jesus, serving Him with all his heart. That he is being taught to lead as he serves. That he too, be a prayer warrior, Bible studier, pure, disciplined, loving & compassionate. That his father is teaching him life skills to carry on with his adult life.

8.) I pray that God will infill my daughters with the Holy Spirit; endued with His richness and anointing.

9.) Increase the talents they have, anointing them as they use their talents for God's Glory.

10.) I pray for leading on what I as their mother need to teach them, daily.

11.) I pray for their education, health, and future life.

12.) I pray for the Lord to comfort them when I know they are hurting.

13.) I pray for the Lord to use them to be a blessing.
                  _____________

Each day, week and even year the prayers steer different directions; especially now as my girls are growing into their teen years. [1 is 17 the other is 13]
The Lord will graciously lead you to scriptures to pray 'over' your children. I.E. - Ps. 91 (the protection chapter).

Our daughters need us to pray, we NEED them in the days ahead to live out their godly lives for the future generations.

I do hope this was a help, and encouraged you as a mother who wants so much good for their daughters.

  2. Thanks. These are good prayers for ALL our children, not just our daughters. I have prayed similar prayers for my son as he is growing and will be a teenager soon.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                                             MINI GIFTS WRAPPED IN A HANKIE Pocket knife, Voice of the Martyrs Pendant  & candy! Al

LET US TRUST THE PROCESS OF PRUNING

Did you ever read this verse in John 15:2 and think, "that's extreme, can't we just hold onto these extra branches that grew once and bore amazing, fruit?" I have definitely !   Then life happens! In that life, we make a decision to dig deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Yet, as we do, we face obstacles (or that's what we called them) that challenged us to trust Jesus to do what He wills in our lives.  I believe this place is a milestone in the timeline of our lives. Will we continue to walk ever so close to the Lord, realizing as we do, He will prune us? Will we desire to be producers of His fruit and life flow through us? Many of us realize that this means more obstacles, cuts, bleeding, times of dormancy and simple hurt.  This is when the milestone comes; will we accept this pruning and be fruitful or just become branches that become brittle, and ragged?  A lot of questions to ponder, but I feel God wants to use each and everyone of His children in o

Thank You For Asking

(c)Daneille Gray Snowden 2022 Today, I was deeply touched in my heart when a dear friend asked how my husband was. I did not mention it first, out of the blue; she asked about something dear to my heart. This wasn't the first time as she has  asked about different matters in my life several times. May I tell you how that made me feel? It made me feel cared for, loved and set back how someone cares intensely about me and my life. How often do you personally experience such care and interest from others? And, as I ask myself this too; how often do we reach out and ask others how they are? When people as a whole reach out in such a way, we see the creation power of God as hearts are connected to one another and a strong foundation is beginning to be built for a lasting relationship.  I love it when I hear conversations in church  or in my home when I  listen to their questions of wanting to learn of others situations, experiences, needs and even joys. The questioner is totally focused
