'GO' Where They Are

WHAT WOULD YOU DO MY DEAR FELLOW CHRISTIAN, PASTOR, & SERVANT OF GOD...
if the owner of a local bar calls you and asks ya to start a church there (on its off-hours)?
Now, before you quickly answer... may I gently encourage you that this is something to seriously pray to God about. FOR YOU SEE-
In God's Presence is where His thoughts and direction is; so that we may know how to proceed.
Secondly; recall the last beckoning of Jesus while still walking this earth:
‘GO!’ NOT wait for those who do not know Jesus as their Savior (who are walking a life of sin and definite bondage) to come to you or in a church building!

NO!
He said: ‘GO!’

We, as His Children...are all responsible for those we know who need Him!
May our Heavenly Father see us bringing  the HOPE & LIFE that is found in Christ Jesus to their door!

Back to my original question about starting a church in a bar.

Well, my friends did pray. They dug deep into God’s Word, sought godly advice... and knew the Lord is leading them to at least take one-step-at-a-time.

They live in a small community; and this particular bar has a reputation to say it nicely.

Yet, the dear owner has a HUNGER- and also wants others to be affected by what she sees in our friends; so she asked them to start this church.

I can’t help but think; someone has been praying for her and those that come to her establishment.

The LIGHT is coming to them!

A breakthrough... an answer to all of life’s questions.
Hallelujah!

Yet... oh there seems to always be a YET!

There are those in the community—in the faith that don’t get why our friends are doing this.

It simply freaks them out!

I am concerned that ignorance has crept into the Church of Jesus Christ on how the Gospel is to ‘GO-OUT’ into all the world.
Matthew 9:37-38 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
This not only needs to be preached, but enacted upon. It shows what is in the heart of God’s people when it comes to share God’s Love to the lost.
Every 3 seconds a person dies- a soul plunged into separation from God (which is hell).
One day; as we all stand before the Throne of God- we will see the souls that were entrusted to us to lead to Christ.

Will they turn to us as they are cast into hell asking; “Why didn’t you tell me?”
I hope and pray God’s Love for others will grow in all who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. So much so, that nothing will be able to stop us from GOING to places and people sharing His Love, Salvation and deliverance.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                                             MINI GIFTS WRAPPED IN A HANKIE Pocket knife, Voice of the Martyrs Pendant  & candy! Al

LET US TRUST THE PROCESS OF PRUNING

Did you ever read this verse in John 15:2 and think, "that's extreme, can't we just hold onto these extra branches that grew once and bore amazing, fruit?" I have definitely !   Then life happens! In that life, we make a decision to dig deeper in our relationship with Jesus Christ. Yet, as we do, we face obstacles (or that's what we called them) that challenged us to trust Jesus to do what He wills in our lives.  I believe this place is a milestone in the timeline of our lives. Will we continue to walk ever so close to the Lord, realizing as we do, He will prune us? Will we desire to be producers of His fruit and life flow through us? Many of us realize that this means more obstacles, cuts, bleeding, times of dormancy and simple hurt.  This is when the milestone comes; will we accept this pruning and be fruitful or just become branches that become brittle, and ragged?  A lot of questions to ponder, but I feel God wants to use each and everyone of His children in o

Thank You For Asking

(c)Daneille Gray Snowden 2022 Today, I was deeply touched in my heart when a dear friend asked how my husband was. I did not mention it first, out of the blue; she asked about something dear to my heart. This wasn't the first time as she has  asked about different matters in my life several times. May I tell you how that made me feel? It made me feel cared for, loved and set back how someone cares intensely about me and my life. How often do you personally experience such care and interest from others? And, as I ask myself this too; how often do we reach out and ask others how they are? When people as a whole reach out in such a way, we see the creation power of God as hearts are connected to one another and a strong foundation is beginning to be built for a lasting relationship.  I love it when I hear conversations in church  or in my home when I  listen to their questions of wanting to learn of others situations, experiences, needs and even joys. The questioner is totally focused
