THE ALMIGHTY!

Continuing on with Psalms 91:1; Remember I shared ‘to-dwell’ in Hebrew is to settle down to a place, to inhabit (from Psalms 91:1a).
In Ps. 91:1b the psalmist writes the words: ‘shall abide’ as he is continuing on with this assumption of when we dwell we shall abide.
Yet, abide also means staying there, to remain stable or fixed in a state. John 15:5 Jesus encourages us to abide in Him, and in result we would produce much fruit in our lives.
We’re too busy in this world, that’s why another definition to abide is to endure. Because in our self we want to do things in our way and in our time. But when we do, we scathe away from His wings, and we’re not connected to the vine as Jesus said.
—- HE’S MORE THAN A SHELTER!
It says to Abide Under the Shadow Ps. 91:1b
Shadow is defined as a defense, a hovering over. God sinks or submerges as in Him. He is more than a shelter, He is our Hiding Place. Under- means staying under the shelter, & under the Blood where there is safety from the evil and attacks of our enemy.
Where? And Who? THE ALMIGHTY! Defined as powerful, impregnable, to be strong, and also efficient. He is El Shaddai!
The Hebrew word Shin (for Almighty) means victory over evil, He is the consuming fire over all His enemies.
HE IS OUR ALMIGHTY GOD! Who pulls us to Him and covers us as we dwell and remain in His presence.

FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES

7 FATHER'S DAY GIFT IDEAS FOR CHURCHES Out of desperation creativity is birthed. I hope to add on to this post through the years. Churches love to give to dad's on Father's Day; sometimes this can be redundant and or expensive. A few short years ago we stepped out of the Evangelistic & Pioneer work to take a small church that is just great and out of the box. So, of course budget is minimal and I am 'it' when it comes to holiday decor and gifting ideas & doing them. The 4 gifts that my family and I put together are as follows:                       POPCORN/CANDY/MOVIE  We placed microwave popcorn, candy bar and a special Father's Day poem inside a popcorn bag.  FRAMED ART FROM LOCAL ARTIST/MINISTER  (Rev. Paul Gray)  MADE THIS INTO A FRAME & ADDED A PEN.                       ...

BRINGING PEACE TO YOUR HUSBAND

Two posts (blogs) ago I said I would continue to look at attaining true peace in our lives. [Sweet Tranquility] Then I promised you that I would continue to expound on having this peace spread through out our home beginning with ‘we’ ladies being the vessel of peace for our husbands.  As I have prayed over this, studied it in God’s Word and in other resources for quite awhile…my ending prognosis is that this study could continue for decades! Peace ; we pray for peace, it's our New Years Resolutions ...it is a salutation in most countries. Yet, everywhere we turn we only observe fruits of turmoil (opposite of peace).  In three thousand  three hundred and fifty years between 1500 B.C. and 1850 A.D. there were only 286 years spent without a war taking place on the globe somewhere. That's thirteen years of war for every year of peace. At that same period of time eight thousand peace treaties were broken.  Today;  2 million coup...

Living the Dream

I have probably one of the most 'spiritual' face book home pages around. My friends post scriptural banners, quotes, prayer requests & praises . I usually get a great up-lift reading my face book. Recently, it seemed many were writing about 'Dreams'. One really jumped out; basically they were challenging the thought (I believe fact) dreams are every day; what we are experiencing today, which is our family, friends, experiences, work, ministry and prayer times. I have always been a dreamer since I was a little girl. When I was little I loved the Walton's-needless to  say my dream then (get this now): was to be a writer, movie star, have 7 kids and live in a big house in the country. Uh huh...yup; unrealistic; but I sure loved the Walton's. Then, when I turned 12 yrs. old at church camp the Lord called me into the Mission Field. When I turned 14 yrs. old, the Lord gave me a heart for India; and was blessed with the opportunity of going there as well. ...
