We must plan ahead to push forward, right? When we do that, we have to stop the clock per se and take the time to truly ponder over all the meticulous decisions that should be made by you. Do this by asking questions such as; “Who will be my POA (after my spouse)? What are my wishes as far as burial & funeral.”
How about inheritance? Do we want to leave a percentage for a not-for-profit?
I just had a wise friend tell me that they will do something like this and the percentage will go towards missions. Making their money has eternal effects. That’s amazing!
Do you know legally you do not have to have a lawyer if you have smaller assets. A lawyer can help with your loved ones not having to go to probate court. It’s also an important idea to have your documents notarized.
This isn’t my expertise, but I can tell you it’s not difficult to simply get organized. Think of details such as a Living will, do you want full code or a DNR, and more.
This planning ahead will save your loved ones great stress.
