My girls and I were having devotions this morning following a time of worship and prayer. I had read to them from one of our 'sorta' devotional books; ' The One Year Christian History  (from the One Year Bible) http://www.amazon.com/One-Year-Christian-History-Books/dp/0842355073 . Great book, we are always inspired and even educated! We read today about the Cane Revival here in American. It resulted in years of amazing services with people fasting, praying, being healed and of course saved. The question was asked how we would react attending a service like this: one where people were worshiping God with ALL their heart (no reservations) and running to the alters.  Then, he presented Ps. 100.  Remember this verse starts out with SHOUT to the Lord! Where did it go? I know it's there ... but I can't see it? Is it hidden under this bush or maybe behind that tree? HIDE-N-SEEK! Fun game wasn't it...looking and knowing that tangible item was somewhere near...all you had to do was to seek and find. The entire meaning of Divine Healing is swirling around in my head and heart since my  last post.  I hope you were able to read my comment I posted at the end of ' Pray As I Am Experiencing My Midnight Hour' .  I question as possibly you have too, why do we not SEE people healed as we have read in the Bible days or even in 3rd World Countries. It makes me think of this game I referred to; is our healing hiding? Or are we seeking? What/Who are we seeking? I wanted to let my readers know what is currently happening in our lives right at this moment. If you recall last October my husband Brad had a simple knee surgery that turned into a major fiasco. [blood clot, major swelling, heart-a-tack, weeks in the hospital and months of recovering] This past week, Brad's energy level has dissipated. He was doing things I had never seen him to. He seem to not have any strength. Then on Friday he was loosing his breath. So, with his history our MD had him tested for blood clots of which they have not found any. We were sent home to rest. But, Saturday he continued to get worse. God has sent us so many wonderful people in our lives and Sat. was one; we have a dear friend Dave Stankus who is a paramedic, yet a man who loves his Lord. He observed Brad's symptoms and encouraged us strongly to get back to the hospital immediately. We have thousands of brothers & sisters in Christ who serve their Lord  Jesus  with amazing zeal and yes, sacrifice. The heat is on! We are approaching the 2nd week of July and the temperatures are rising! Many of us are now taking a turn on our busy roads of life and finding a swimming hole to jump into.
