I see a ship tattered, of personally being hurt & wounded, cold, wet, and alone. There is also a sense of hopelessness, with thoughts such as;  "Is this it? Is this where my life will end? I was on a journey of purpose and now what?" I recently heard of what is called the  'KINGDOM-SEQUENCE'-  1.) A season of multiplication. Saved, seeing doors open a newness. 2.) To a storm (& even more storms). 3.) Then a greater measure of miracles and purposes. Take this into account with the life of Paul in the book of Acts.  Paul is being 'sentenced-to-death' as he was innocent of the accusations laid upon him; but this was his journey. Acts 26:31  "...and when they had gone aside, they talked among themselves, saying,  “This man is doing nothing deservin

We get up in the morning, and for me - I want to get my tasty cup of coffee and start my day with Jesus. I then plan my schedule and my thoughts long for happiness, with all I do.  Let me clarify; happiness for me is fulfillment. Fulfilling what I believe God has created me to be.  What if though, those plans flop? What if it seems to take your entire life and in your minds eye view; ya never accomplish that purpose or purposes you believe God had for you? How about beginning another amazing new chapter in your life; one you waited years for;  only to see it change dramatically?!?! Simple questions that truly is the sustenance of our hearts! I love looking into people's eyes; for they are the windows to the

BEING OPEN AND REAL from Daneille I have been pondering on how the Lord has been sending His strength and encouragement to me lately. Serving in a foreign land; one faces many different challenges. Nothing is close to simple.  A lot is more than difficult. Some is physical, quite a bit is mental and physical and a whole bunch is spiritual.  Being consistent in prayer and in God's Word is the way to be able to move forward even though one may be moving as fast as a turtle. In my case as fast as a snail! I could tell people were praying for us.  I found it so encouraging when ones would write and say the Lord woke me up to pray for you. We were blessed to come to the U.S. to attend and be a part of our son's wedding. Such a GIFT FROM GOD and a total miracle. We also came home because our daughter was struck suddenly by an illness as we served in Africa. When we flew back, I myself have been struck with an illness as well.  BOTH ARE A MYSTERY STILL TO TH

As I am praying for families; for a ‘HEALTH’ in family units; the Holy Spirit dropped this in my heart (as He did earlier this week when talking with one who’s family is in disarray):  THE KEY IS THE FOUNDATIONS!  It starts with mom & dad- their personal walk with Jesus & then their relationship with Jesus as their Cornerstone.  It MUST BE apparent for all to see Jesus in their relationship; *in grace, *service (serving each other), *prayer (couples- need to pray daily togethe r), *devotions together, *edifying one another, *encouraging one another, *laughing together, *having fun together, I like this: SEE THEIR GIFTINGS & help them in any way to achieve them.  Ya know...this lays a solid foundation. Then when our children live with this they feel: SECURE! They in turn will develop their character from it.  GO BACK TO THE FOUNDATIONS OF GOD FAMILY! 2 Timothy 2:19, KJV: "
