   My daughter and I are studying   Beautiful Girlhood together. A lovely book filled with helps and truths to teach our developing young ladies. Mabel Hale the author shared her wise yet heart filled teachings during the turn of the century. Still, today as we read each chapter: wisdom is digested deep with our minds and hearts. Shelley Noonan has written a study guide, of which helps both my daughter and I to share our hearts even more. The lessons learned here will be passed from generation to generation.    The chapter we read today was Home Life . We begin to understand their sense of humor, their favorite foods & music, as well their knowledge of different topics. Imagine; then as we spend more and more time in the presence of our Heavenly Father; and we are not only still but we come to KNOW HIM -- there will be a end result. Not only will we find that ‘PERFECT PEACE’ (because our minds are stayed upon Him); we will become more like Him. As Moses was when he dwelled in God’s Presence; His image was changed from glory to glory. The term ‘mind' in Isaiah 26:3 means; "to form, create, devise; that which is formed or made."    If you are like me, you melt at true love stories. I know I do; and my favorite on the romantic side is my own love story; meeting and falling in love with the man of my dreams. We met after after he came back from serving his country in Europe and I after I graduated college. We both heard about an inner city ministry to children and that is where our hearts collided. Before that, I had come to the conclusion I would never marry but serve my Lord totally devoting 100% of myself to God's Work. Then, I met Brad. Now, I serve Him with 200% of my life.    Friday is a day here in America when we like to celebrate 'Love'; mostly to the individual we are married to or shall I say 'romantically involved with'. Quite frankly though, I honestly believe this world has no idea where LOVE came from.
