Thank You For Asking

(c)Daneille Gray Snowden 2022 Today, I was deeply touched in my heart when a dear friend asked how my husband was. I did not mention it first, out of the blue; she asked about something dear to my heart. This wasn't the first time as she has  asked about different matters in my life several times. May I tell you how that made me feel? It made me feel cared for, loved and set back how someone cares intensely about me and my life. How often do you personally experience such care and interest from others? And, as I ask myself this too; how often do we reach out and ask others how they are? When people as a whole reach out in such a way, we see the creation power of God as hearts are connected to one another and a strong foundation is beginning to be built for a lasting relationship.  I love it when I hear conversations in church  or in my home when I  listen to their questions of wanting to learn of others situations, experiences, needs and even joys. The questioner is totally focused

THE PORTRAIT OF GOD IN HIS PROMISES

I recall as my husband and I would hike up rocky terrain several times through-out the years (all across our country and world); how we marveled in the majestic feel and power of the topography it all encompassed . Even a year ago, we climb high rocks on the Congo River in the DRC, that was a bit different. When we finally mounted the top of one of the largest  rocks, a feeling of respect arose as the torrential river was swarming all around.  Psalms 18:2 is a portrait of our God, as we stay within His Presence, and grasp onto His Word; which is life. There are eight promises all condensed into this verse.  "The  Lord  is my rock, my  fortress , and the One who rescues me; My God,  my rock   and  strength in whom I trust  and  take refuge;  My  shield , and the horn of my salvation, my  high tower —my  stronghold ."  Psalms 18:2 Today, the Lord led me to this promise as my husband is traveling in Africa and was met with some difficult and dangerous obstacles. Halleluiah, God

A CHALLENGE FROM GOD TO US ALL ~ A Word from the Lord for today.

A CHALLENGE FROM GOD TO US ALL  ~ A Word from the Lord for us today.   (c) Daneille Gray Snowden 2022 I have been praying and waiting and praying some more on when to begin sharing a 'Word' that the Lord has given me as I was studying in 1 Kings 18 . I truly believe this chapter relates to the times we all are living in today. It is for the church directly and pertains to the world around us.  The characters in this chapter are strong on so many different levels. The man of God Elijah is the center of this whirlwind (pardon the pun...in regards to later on in his life) that storms forward in this chapter.  Backing up though, in 1 Kings 17 we see God leading Elijah to a lonely place called the Brook Cherith . This was a gorge area, known as one of the wildest places to be, in regards to steep ravines and dangerous mountain climbs plus wild animals. Yet, God led Elijah to abide there.  We see the Brook as a preparation place for this still semi young prophet of whom God'

WHEN WE SPEAK THE NAME OF JESUS

Daneille Gray Snowden(c) 2022  WHEN WE SPEAK THE NAME OF JESUS                     I just recently was listening to the song: 'I Speak Jesus.' Wow! This song is truly anointed and absolutely powerful too! Listen to some of the words: " I just want to speak the name of Jesus Over every heart and every mind Cause I know there is peace within Your presence  I speak Jesus." I truly believe we all were given a gift to be able to speak life, to cry out, and to use the authority given to us by the Blood of Jesus! When our Lord defeated the devil, death, hell and the grave, plus arose as our King, and then gave us the anointing and beckon call to arise as His children to take authority in His Name. [ Matt. 28:18 ] Let's ask ourselves, "What do I speak?" Do I speak life, or death? Do I speak out and take authority in Jesus Name over the evil that surrounds me? What do I speak?" The scripture says He was given a name that was above all names-
