When I was 7 years old I was born again! Five years later, the Lord filled me with His Holy Spirit and called me out to serve in full time service in the ministry. My heart is missions and a longing to love people into God's Kingdom.
I love to teach God's Word, pray with people and write.
Soon, we are hoping our Jesus opens amazing doors to walk into mission endeavors.

'GO' Where They Are

copyright(c) Daneille Gray Snowden

if the owner of a local bar calls you and asks ya to start a church there (on its off-hours)?
Now, before you quickly answer... may I gently encourage you that this is something to seriously pray to God about. FOR YOU SEE-
In God's Presence is where His thoughts and direction is; so that we may know how to proceed.
Secondly; recall the last beckoning of Jesus while still walking this earth:
‘GO!’ NOT wait for those who do not know Jesus as their Savior (who are walking a life of sin and definite bondage) to come to you or in a church building!

He said: ‘GO!’

We, as His Children...are all responsible for those we know who need Him!
May our Heavenly Father see us bringing  the HOPE & LIFE that is found in Christ Jesus to their door!

Back to my original question about starting a church in a bar.

Well, my friends did pray. They dug deep into God’s Word, sought godly advice... and knew the Lord is leading them to at least take one-step-at-a-time.

They live in a small community; and this particular bar has a reputation to say it nicely.

Yet, the dear owner has a HUNGER- and also wants others to be affected by what she sees in our friends; so she asked them to start this church.

I can’t help but think; someone has been praying for her and those that come to her establishment.

The LIGHT is coming to them!

A breakthrough... an answer to all of life’s questions.

Yet... oh there seems to always be a YET!

There are those in the community—in the faith that don’t get why our friends are doing this.

It simply freaks them out!

I am concerned that ignorance has crept into the Church of Jesus Christ on how the Gospel is to ‘GO-OUT’ into all the world.
Matthew 9:37-38 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.
This not only needs to be preached, but enacted upon. It shows what is in the heart of God’s people when it comes to share God’s Love to the lost.
Every 3 seconds a person dies- a soul plunged into separation from God (which is hell).
One day; as we all stand before the Throne of God- we will see the souls that were entrusted to us to lead to Christ.

Will they turn to us as they are cast into hell asking; “Why didn’t you tell me?”
I hope and pray God’s Love for others will grow in all who know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. So much so, that nothing will be able to stop us from GOING to places and people sharing His Love, Salvation and deliverance.

My nice back yard. Where I got my little scolding today. 😅

I was sitting outside on my back porch meditating on the Lord; thinking about our very near future life in Africa.
As I looked around my freshly mowed, large, green back yard; I stared and thought to myself (comparing this to where I will live) it looks like I am so rich; when truly I am very poor.
INSTANTLY...I got a scolding from my Dear Heavenly Father!

He said; "Don't you know who you are? I thought of you before you were made, I created you so uniquely in my hands, I never stop thinking of you and I have planned your life.
I sent my Son so you could live a life of love, hope and victory and live with Me forever!
I have gifted you, filled you and I send others to pray for and love you.
I have proven this over and over again in your life.
So, are you poor?"

   -not poor

2 Corinthians 8:9 "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sake he became poor, so that you by his poverty might become rich."

  -I never leave you.

Deuteronomy 31:8  "It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.”

-God's Spirit will teach you. We are to be filled with Spirit that has infinite knowledge.
Eph. 1:17  "That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,"

-IN our weakness HE IS STRONG! We are given authority and power to tread on serpents, pray for the sick and cast out demons.

Luke 10:19 "Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you."
James 5:15  "And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."

-He sets on a rock to stay.
Jn. 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid."

Think about it dear reader; as someone who has surrendered their lives to Jesus; vowing to live for Him, we have so much!

Our God is a CREATING GOD - He will give us the ability to be creative
Even when we think we aren't creative; HE can pour that into our minds and do this!
Are you facing difficulty with income; pray this - God give me your CREATIVE thoughts coupled with an eternal amount of wisdom plus guided by Your Holy Spirit.

His Well of supply NEVER runs out!
When we look through our FINITE HUMAN MINDS; fear ignites and paralyzes. GO TO THE WELL...see HIS HANDS DIPPING IN SUPPLYING EVERY THIRST (need or desire).

Start praying in FAITH pronouncing the NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES.
The Name where demons tremble and flee. At the Name of Jesus; mountains are moved.

Do you have a need my friend? There will always be needs as long as we live.
There shall also always be supply too.
REST YOUR SOUL in this fact;

Sinach- I Know Who I Am

Having An Eternal Mindset

Having An Eternal Mindset
Today we visited with my elderly father & stepmom. I know the days are numbered on how many times I get to do this.
He pulled out a file with some of my mother’s old letters & Bible studies (she passed away 26 years ago as I was giving her cpr). In it was a song God gave him in a dream when she passed away; ‘She’s not gone; she’s in heaven so am I..” He teared up as he sang it to our girls.
I felt so heavy in my heart when I left. I whispered to Jesus; please give me more of an eternal perspective- knowing it won’t be long for all who know Jesus as their Savior to be in Heaven.
I looked up and saw this sky and felt an amazing peace.
Oh God; may I always keep my heart with this eternal focus!
Peter 1:13-15
“Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”

Want peace, fulfillment, a deep joy and just satisfaction in life (daily)?
3) Fulfill your call & purpose for you (not your own).
Example: King Solomon (the richest king), who had it all in riches, wives, concubines, & popularity; still at the end of his life realized his emptiness. He concluded the only WORTHWHILE LIFE IS ONE THAT HONORS AND OBEYS GOD! [Eccl. 12:13-14]
It’s a good thing to reflect; does my life honor Him (or me)? Do I daily live out what He lovingly created me for? Am I listening & obeying His voice as He tries to lead us (or do I listen and just do what I want)? May we all lay our heads down at night, full of great satisfaction knowing we have lived out our day according to God’s Purpose & Plans for our precious lives! This will be that PERFECT PEACE we have been promised.

God says; “Set Thy Course By My Promises!”

God says; “Set Thy Course By My Promises!”
Quote from Come Away My Beloved: “Hold to my promises. They are given to thee as a chart is given to a ship... Ye May Set thy course...’by the way’ of my promises.”
Ps. 16:11 “God will show me the path of life.”
Heb. 13:21 The God of peace will make me COMPLETE in every good work TO DO His WILL...”

‘The Treck To Jerusalem’

‘The Treck To Jerusalem’

I entitled a recent Bible study: ‘The Treck To Jerusalem’ (before Palm Sunday). This last walk was likely Jesus’ 7th time there. A ‘5-day’ journey from Nazareth. Walking to His betrayals (deep hurts), to torture, being all alone, + painful & long crucifixion. Yet, it was HIS MISSION! His focus on that 5 Day walk was still others!
We see that 70 more were called into service, the 10 lepers Healed, etc.
Many of us are walking this last treck! Where is our mission focus? Retirement or moving forward and touching as many lives with Christ’s Love, Praying for others for healing, spreading the Gospel so more will know how to live (know they have a loving Savior)!
KEEP WALKING! As Jesus walked many hills & valley’s on His path; so do we. Make HIS MISSION yours, spend your life to the end; to declare:
“For God so loved the world, that He gave us His only Son; that whosoever believes in Him shall have EVERLASTING life.” Jn. 3:16

God has been impressing me in my own life, to look at what all is - 'taking-away' from what He intends for-me and to do through-me. It wasn't hard to see what these things are; social media and tv are my biggest 'DRAINS'!  😔
by Tabitha Snowden photographer

Here is what I posted on my Facebook Page:
"Removing those things that definitely doesn’t add to my life; but also those that take away (the importance’s) of life.
What are they for you?
We have the abstract, visuals, to the spiritual. [Drugs, alcohol, lots of entertainment, maybe even toxic people or at least their behaviors & the list continues.]
In the Bible we read about producing good fruit in our lives. And that fruit also be multiplied because of the seeds of life within. If this be; we must be nourished from the God who purposefully created us!
If we are watching hours of tv, reading meaningless book after book, spend hours on social media; it feeds emptiness! We then take note that not only is the Body of Christ weak in their spiritual walk, but dying too!
We are not prepared for battle, trials, reaching out to others, and more!
From this day forth, I DANEILLE SNOWDEN: “... lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,” Heb. 12:1"

Hebrews 12:1-3 In the Message Version it says this:
"It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!"

REMINDER: Our enemy (the devil himself) - wants to blind us of our PURPOSE God intends for our lives!!! He will throw obstacles to TRIP US up, tempt us to believe we need things, that we truly don't at all and place fears that totally can debilitate & blind.

We must -
      * Lay Aside EVERY weight & sin (note The Message said parasitic sin).
      * Inordinate Affections (let them go) this is the excessive, unwarrantable, needless & extreme things we have been 'FOOLED' to believe we actually NEED!
      * This is 'DEAD WEIGHT' - that PULLS DOWN the soul when in actuality needs to be UPWARD, it also PULLS BACK when we are to PUSH FORWARD!
"It makes our duties & difficulties even harder and heavier!"
In a race there is a mark and a prize.
*It is 'SET BEFORE' - marked-out    HOW SO?
God's Word, Examples OF Faithful Servants (the Great Cloud of Witnesses).
Mark defined:  is a land or spot to be when the race is beginning. Means to 'get-ready!'
God has indeed provided the MARK... with His Word and examples; including Christ Himself.  We need to just 'GET' there!

The ROAD OF LIFE/THE RACE is SET by Proper LIMITED Directions.
  *First; we have the Road God has designed in His Word;
This is accomplished by living an obedient, holy life, worshiping in an assembly of fellow believers, seeking first the Kingdom of God, waiting on Him, and so on.

*Second; We have different callings in all our lives. Thus, as it parallels with God's Word; we walk this by listening to His Voice, and being open and obedient.

*Third; After carefully walking the twist, turns, hills, valleys, storms and peaceful shores.... WE RUN TO OUR PRIZE! It's WHY WE RUN...WHY WE LIVE OUT THIS AMAZING, PURPOSEFUL LIFE GOD INTENDS- it is

  *How to Run with
In Patience: we gain from encountering difficulties. We just don't automatically have patience. We have to learn it from day 1 until we take our last breath.
BY NOT HAVING we are running this race; we can loose focus and get off the path. Dangers lurk don't they when we veer off paths that were designed.
I have hiked in the mountains numerous times; especially when we lived in the Appalachians. God bless the trailblazers who worked hard carving out a hiking trail for those who are pursuing an uphill adventure to the top! There were so many 'drop-offs' (cliffs), snakes, bears, poison ivy and more. We wanted to stay on that trail for our safety, and we knew for sure where it would take us, even when we didn't see 'WHERE' yet; because the trail had markers.

With sore muscles, becoming out of breath and being plum tired; there is nothing like finally arriving to the summit! The long hard trek was quite rewarding, and I know for me; the realization, I just became stronger, wiser, and victorious was worth it!   YET...It required PATIENCE!

Perseverance: which is with God's strength that helps us to...
Heb. 12:2  " [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus, who is the Author and Perfecter of faith..."

In the Reformation Bible it says -
*EVERY WEIGHT is defined as - 'burdens' to be thrown off, 'fears' to shrink in the face of suffering (Heb. 10:38,39), bitter discouragements that defiles us (12:15).
*LOOK TO JESUS where our encouragement comes from.
Who is the 'PERFECTOR' of our faith.
v.2 "who for the joy [of accomplishing the goal] set before Him endured the cross, [b]disregarding the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God [revealing His deity, His authority, and the completion of His work]." ampl.

He was joyful, because He was accomplishing the goal of HOPE & SALVATION.
Where did He GO (where we are to follow)?

Crucifixion on the Cross,  was regarded as the MOST SHAMEFUL form of punishment.  So-much-so; that no Roman Citizen was crucified in this manner.
The Jews even believed "everyone hung on a tree was cursed."

This is where many will turn away; and walk no more in the PURPOSEFUL LIFE God has intended for them.
It results in a 'FRUITLESS' & 'UNFULLFILLED,' very sad life.

Personally, I don't want that: I am not as young as I use to be. The 'THINGS' I regarded as vitally important are not so much anymore.
The way I have spent my time, is more important to me now, more than ever before.
I want my footsteps to count!
I want my life to make a DEEP IMPRESSION - because I have so many others God has placed in my path: who need to see, hear and follow Jesus for themselves.
I want to look back and see so many walking for GOD and living out who God created them to be.

by Daneille Gray Snowden

No, this is NOT a political blog post. God brought this to my heart this morning as I was travailing in prayer; interceding for loved ones who were given a GREAT BIRTH RIGHT as children of God.

When we are heavily burdened for our loved ones as well as all the souls of men and woman; God hears our cry and reveals HIS VIEW on the situation (whatever it may be). Our first response (should be) for anything that hurts, frustrates, and burdens us is to fall on our knees before the Face of our great God and King.  Why do we even allow a moment to let it fester within our own spirits? I think because we have this 'human-tendency' to want to 'FIX' things and people. Yet, over and over again, God prods us with the Holy Spirit; moving our hearts to seek Him.

I was considering those especially who were raised with seeing and hearing of  God's Love continuously in their young lives. I am not talking about just attending church here; for many attend church and do not grasp the truth of salvation and living for Him. I am writing about  what they have seen and heard in their homes through their parents.
I truly do believe with all my heart in the promise scripture:

Isaiah 55:11  King James Version (KJV)

"So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it."

Allow me to share a snippet in God's Word about one who had sold his birthright out of instant gratification and pleasure; Esau.

It begins here:

Genesis 25:19-34

*Rebekah conceived [twins].
*Two nations are in her womb.
* "first (Esau) came out reddish all over like a hairy garment; and they named him Esau (hairy). 26 Afterward his brother came out, and his hand grasped Esau’s heel, so he was named Jacob..." v.25-26
*  SOLD-OUT: 29 "Once when Jacob was cooking stew, Esau came in from the field, and he was exhausted. 30 And Esau said to Jacob, “Let me eat some of that red stew, for I am exhausted!” (Therefore his name was called Edom.[a]) 31 Jacob said, “Sell me your birthright now.” 32 Esau said, “I am about to die; of what use is a birthright to me?” 33 Jacob said, “Swear to me now.” So he swore to him and sold his birthright to Jacob. 34 Then Jacob gave Esau bread and lentil stew, and he ate and drank and rose and went his way. Thus Esau despised his birthright."

BIRTHRIGHT: "Special privileges and advantages belonging to the first-born son among the Jews. He became the priest of the family. Thus Reuben was the first-born of the patriarchs, and so the priesthood of the tribes.
 - Allotted to him also a double portion of the paternal inheritance.
 - Judicial authority of his father, whatever it might be.
Sacred importance to the rank of "first-born" and "first-begotten" as applied to the Messiah." {link}

One reason some SELL-OUT their birthright is they stop caring! It's not treasured deeply within their souls. It says in this passage that Esau 'despised' his birthright.

1) 'Divine supply is the fullness of the Spirit' - Acts 2:4  FULL (not partial) with the attributes of God, with His Power, Hope, Strength, Love and so much more
2) Double portion of parents inheritance. More wisdom, knowledge, anointing power, doors open to DO MORE...etc.
3) The privileges of the overcoming believer;
to inherit”  ( greek- kleronomeo):  obtain an inheritance by allotment inheritance of spiritual possessions --
freely receive eternal salvation through grace
(Eph. 1:14 and Heb. 9:15)
HEIRS OF GOD:  “and if children, heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, so that we may also be glorified with Him.” (Rom. 8:17)
4) Eternal Life (Mk. 10:30; Lk. 18:30; Rom. 2:6-7)
5) Ruling with Christ (Lk. 19:17, 19)

'Esau's eyes were ultimately opened to his folly in parting with his birthright for "one mess of meat," and he then desired to inherit the blessing, seeking it "diligently with tears;" but alas! his awaking came too late!'  (Heb. 12:16, 17).

* Reuben lost his birthright, those privileges were divided up & went to Joseph through his two sons (Ephraim and Manasseh), each being given a portion of the land.
Gen. 48:21-22 reads: “Then Israel said to Joseph, ‘Behold, I am about to die, but God will be with you, and bring you back to the land of your fathers. I give you one portion more than your brothers, which I took from the hand of the Amorite with my sword and my bow.’"

This is a very important aspect to deeply ponder; to VALUE the BIRTHRIGHT we have as God's Children
Value means to regard or esteem highly.
Does our 'loved-one' (do we) Esteem our salvation, our HOLY TEACHINGS we received growing up:  HIGHLY?

-- SELF becomes GOD and takes over, compromising God's Word and His desires and purpose for their (& our) lives.
-- How does one become SELF-ABSORBED?
-- There are hundreds upon hundreds of avenues into this LIFE STYLE; which tricks ones into:

"...because they exchanged the truth about God for a lie and worshiped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever!" Rom. 1:25

SATAN will use food (like Esau), drink, music, entertainment, sexual desires to destroy God's people
We must pray for God to OPEN THEIR EYES to this truth!
"To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me." Acts 26:18
I hope to encourage mom's, dad's, grandparents, pastors and all to continue to 'travail-in-prayer' for your loved one.

-To live out a HOLY life, filled with the attributes of our God
-by being FULLY FILLED with the Holy Spirit.
-This will be the LIGHT in the Darkness they are walking in.
-Pray for God to open their eyes to see this.
-There is always HOPE in our Lord Jesus!

Praise His Name!
