When I was 7 years old I was born again! Five years later, the Lord filled me with His Holy Spirit and called me out to serve in full time service in the ministry. My heart is missions and a longing to love people into God's Kingdom.
I love to teach God's Word, pray with people and write.
Soon, we are hoping our Jesus opens amazing doors to walk into mission endeavors.

Prayers To Pray In the New Year

Prayers To Pray In the New Year
Here we all are, saying goodbye to yet another year and welcoming a fresh new beginning for us all to grasp! Isn't it wonderful as Christians we can have this life of NEWNESS in having yet another chance to do and be more for God?
I know one of my goals for 2015 was to enter my 50's (turned 50 in June) healthier and I did! I am still working on it as the Lord leads. Praise report: I have gone down 3 pant sizes this year and ready to go 3 more too! My husband has lost 60 lbs, my girls are thinner too! That is physical for us.
Ministerial; we are THRILLED about being accepted as missionaries to Mozambique with One Missions Society! I shake my head in 'awe' how the Lord has led us this past year.

Since I was born, my family has 'always' prayed in the New Year together.

Please be encouraged to 'PRAY-IN' the New Year with your family, soul-mate, and or your church family. As you do, here is a litte help to steer ya into this powerful time with the Lord.

"Lord, we are so grateful for the past year. For Your amazing Love and strength You graciously give to Your children. Thank You for Your supply, direction, and for people in our lives as well."
Psalm 95:2 "Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!"

"We adore You! We worship You with all our hearts, with all we are! You deserve ALL the glory!"
Psalm 150:6 "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!"
*Souls To Be Saved
"Jesus, there are souls who need Your salvation.  We start with one's we are close to; Lord, use us & anyone You so choose to minister the loving Gospel to them. Prick their hearts, give them a true hunger and teachable spirit to receive Your Word and Life. SEND OUT THE LABORERS into the Harvest we pray. Faithful servants to plant the seed, cultivate the soil...and Lord just grow this seed into the Heart of men."
Acts 26:18 "To open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me."
"Jesus, send revival in the land! We are parched...send the rain of Your Holy Spirit. Stir up Your children to pray, seek you...praying through and keep praying. Praying together as a unit...that the church will be HUNGRY to pray together. We ask for You to instill within the church to LIVE OUT the Word of be convicted of our self serving sin...and live out sacrificially to serve You by serving others.
Lord, send us SIGNS - WONDERS & MIRACLES!"
Psalm 85:6 "Will you not revive us again, that your people may rejoice in you?"
"Dearest Jesus, many are hurting physically. Their bodies simply 'hurt'. You know that, thus Right now; we all ask in agreement to touch and restore health to the sick --in Your Mighty Name: JESUS!  Rise one's out of the wheel chairs, sick beds, from medications, depressions and so on. Restore sight, take  every pain and sickness we ask."
Exodus 15:26  "If you diligently heed the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD who heals you."

"Lord, there are many husband and wives who are crying out to You to help them with their marriages. We pray that they will 'fall-in-love' with You as a couple. Then love each other more than themselves. Bring back a servant & selfless heart of love for one another. We pray a revival in their marriages; that couples will pray together daily, share in the Word as a unit, attend church together and even serve the Lord in a ministry of sort together. We command the spirit of divorce to leave, pornography, adultery, selfishness all 'GO' in Jesus Name! Heal marriages Lord we pray."
Matthew 12:25 "Every kingdom divided against itself will be ruined, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand."
"Precious Lord, we love our families. We adore our children, and we are very grateful for them. Lord, families all over need You! We pray that the fathers will rise up and lead their families as the Priest of their homes. That they will be a true, Biblical example as a spiritual leader. That mothers will teach their daughters to be prayer warriors, and keepers of the home. That the young men will be taught how to love their family (as Christ love the church) and lead by providing, caring + protecting their family. Lord, we pray for the families in this world to Seek You daily and delve into Your Word together. As well as to minister to the orphan, the widows (ers), elderly, homeless, hungry, the prisoners, to their pastors, missionaries and so many others. Unify the families in this world as One in You we pray."
1 Corinthians 13:4-7  "Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things."
"Jesus, my family has a soldier serving you and I know I am not alone. Lord, protect our young men all over this world. We plead Your Blood over them and ask that through their service they all will come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Anoint the soldier that has You within their hearts to be bold in their faith and minister to others be it a fellow soldier or a civilian they are protecting. We pray that You send them home safely back to their families safe and well."
Psalms 23:4
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me."

*Persecuted Church
Jesus, these people are my heroes of the faith. Thank You so much for their lives, for them being 'living sacrifices' for Your glory. Strengthen emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Anoint and use them to lead even their persecutors to You. Supply for them and their, shelter, clothing, health and healing. Comfort those who have lost their loved one's through persecution. Bless them abundantly!
Hebrews 13:3 "Remember those who are in prison, as if you were their fellow prisoner, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body [and subject to physical suffering]."

*America (& the World)
"Turn our country back to You! Father, please forgive us for being calloused spirituality. Set us aflame...back to the Word, back to You. Deliver us we pray; from the debauchery that has infiltrated every home. We are so sorry for not placing You and Your Ways first and putting other sinful laws, other false religions and practices before You. Raise up godly political leaders to lead us back to You we pray. Bring down the laws that are opposite from Your Word. Bring prayer back in the courthouse and school room...prayer specifically to You. Feed the hungry, educate the uneducated, house the homeless, peace...YOUR PEACE in this world we pray. We recognize Your peace is different...but it will be a saving peace and this is what we ask. We pray that this country and the world to come to serve You."
2 Chronicles  7:14 "If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."

"Help us Lord to utilize each day wisely. To seek You, study Your Word and serve others. We pray that this will be the year that droves of souls will come to know You as their Lord and Savior. Send out more missionaries (including the Snowden family) into the harvest field, send out Christian kids in their schools - to people in their work places. We pray Lord when 2017 comes, that we all will look back with much gratitude for all we were able to do for Your Kingdom.
We ask this all with great expectation, in Jesus Name ~Amen!"

Most of us will be around family this week. Some will be visiting with others they haven't seen & won't see in a long time. Wouldn't it be great, if we all took our cell's and placed them in a basket; or turned them on silence: then NOT text the entire time we are visiting?
Silence your phones and don't text as we visit each other this Christmas! Ok? Ready, set...GO -place your cell phones down! [Including your FB notifications!]

Our beautiful daughters are living in an age where femininity, purity, and living out the life as a Christian lady is an uphill battle. The images of woman are sadly displayed as gaudy, sexually active, loud & disdainful, plus more. The best example they could have is their own mothers.
In that, as godly mothers not only should we LIVE-OUT our testimony by how we act, dress, and talk; but how we pray!
-- "When all around us is sinking sand...ON CHRIST the Solid Rock I stand."  --
We may have a teen girl, and it appears as if things have gotten way out of hand; instead of reacting in our 'self' -- we run to the ROCK. We intercede, sometimes we fast as we pray for our children, for ourselves and our entire family; praying through, and praying again. It is in this time the Lord aligns our heart and mind with His. In so doing, He will lead us in prayers for our children that we never have ever thought of before.
So, before I give you any suggestions...take a week where you focus your prayers for His leading on praying for your daughters. Each of us are uniquely made; God has a particular purpose for all of our lives. Yet, we ALL our HIS children...'all' means our own daughters too. Thus, realizing this can give us a charismatic passion to intercede with total surrender of our will, lives and children; and pray with great hope in the Will of the Heavenly Father.
[I am blessed to have two lovely girls.]
1.) Cover them Lord Jesus with Your precious blood. The Blood of Jesus cleanses and purifies. Keeping their thoughts pure, their hearts pure is vital.
2.) Surround them with angels...keeping them safe. "The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them." Ps. 34:7

3.) They will grow into prayer warriors.

4.) They will grow daily in studying God's Word.

5.) They will be living evangelist of the Gospel of Jesus Christ = starting now.

6.) They will be servants & leaders.

7.) I pray for their 'Soul Mate' -- for HIM to be very 'in-love' with Jesus, serving Him with all his heart. That he is being taught to lead as he serves. That he too, be a prayer warrior, Bible studier, pure, disciplined, loving & compassionate. That his father is teaching him life skills to carry on with his adult life.

8.) I pray that God will infill my daughters with the Holy Spirit; endued with His richness and anointing.

Ron DiCianni painting
9.) Increase the talents they have, anointing them as they use their talents for God's Glory.

10.) I pray for leading on what I as their mother need to teach them, daily.

11.) I pray for their education, health, and future life.

12.) I pray for the Lord to comfort them when I know they are hurting.

13.) I pray for the Lord to use them to be a blessing.

Each day, week and even year the prayers steer different directions; especially now as my girls are growing into their teen years. [1 is 17 the other is 13]
The Lord will graciously lead you to scriptures to pray 'over' your children. I.E. - Ps. 91 (the protection chapter).

Our daughters need us to pray, we NEED them in the days ahead to live out their godly lives for the future generations.

I do hope this was a help, and encouraged you as a mother who wants so much good for their daughters.

                                                           By Daneille Gray Snowden
Matt. 8:10 "When Jesus heard it, he marveled,..."
WOW! Can you imagine that? Having Jesus looking at you, then at those all around, saying; "...Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel?" His emotional reaction stated in the same verse- HE WAS MARVELED at this man! I want that, I want to be THERE; in the place where my walk of faith, my words and actions that Jesus' [My Lord & King!] would be marveled at! How about you, are ya with me? Let's dig in and take a look at how this man MARVELED God (the Son).
To be 'marveled' means causing wonder, admiration, or astonishment and in the Greek: thaumazó (thou-mad'-zo) it is defined as: admire, and to be amazed.
I want to with all my heart; for my God to admire me and be astonished! Yet, this is NOT what this man...this Centurion was setting out to do. Not at all! He was in a place of desperation; but also REALIZATION of Who Jesus is. A centurion is a soldier over a hundred soldiers. He was a comptroller of the town and well respected in this position. An officer of this stature was; "...chosen by merit, and so were men remarkable not so much for their daring courage as for their deliberation, constancy, and strength of mind." [M. Henry] Think on this, in comparison to all of us today; he had it all! He had prestige, respect, money, authority, intelligence and power. So many of us today, that is how SUCCESS is measured; isn't it? So, if we reach success, especially to this level will our mind & heart set be brought to humility on the behalf of others? This is where this leader was, his heart was broken for his servant who was struck with an awful disease of palsy. Palsy then was a type of paralysis either resulting from a stroke, bells palsy or something that caused numbness. It was looked at as impossible to cure and likely fatal.
Yet, he somehow knew of Jesus and recognized him for WHO HE WAS! Seeing that; this leader (the Centurion) came to Jesus; beseeching him. He recognized that Christ commanded respect because he recognized the true LEADER of the universe!
"He owns Christ’s sovereignty, in calling him Lord, and referring the case to him, and to his will, and wisdom." [M.H.]

By 'beseeching' Him, the Centurion became a beggar. 'This is the only instance of one that came to him for a servant: Lord, my servant lieth at home sick.' A humble heart was in this man; simply because He knew Who Jesus truly was (& is today). When we SEEK Jesus, read His Word...dwell in His Presence; we too can have our hearts melted to the place of being humble intercessors and servants of the Most High!

This humility, (self-abasement) had energized the Centurion's 'readiness' to come to Jesus and heal his servant. "Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof." (Matt. 8:8) This act, was an evidence of his faith in Christ.
How about us, what is our outward state on the behalf of others...even one's we consider our inferiors (which we shouldn't)? Are we or do we come to God-- with great desperation plus humility for their lives?

"The more humility the more faith; the more diffident we are of ourselves, the stronger will be our confidence in Jesus Christ." [MH]

This centurion man believed in Christ's power to heal, so much; that he felt that there was no need of  physical contact. He believed that the power of Christ knows no limits!

Jeremiah 23:23 "Am I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off?"

NOTE: A Centurion's word was LAW in this time period. It was called, dictum factum; "Well-disciplined soldiers know that the commands of their officers are not to be disputed, but obeyed."
Thus, this man believed the same format...what Christ Jesus would say as the LAW of the Universe it shall be done.
Back in v.7 "I will come and heal him;" Expressing here,  FAVOR gained from Jesus to this soldier. Jesus was astonished by Him, (not surprised though) but marveled! How? v.8 "The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed."

HIS FAITH  was great and excellent, rare and uncommon, and Christ spoke of it as a wonderful thing, to teach us what is to be admired. The Centurion was not an Israelite; yet he was being honored by Jesus the Son of God.
In the next few verses Jesus gives a 'talkin to' to the Children of Israel; where much more is expected. "But, there was no greater faith like this gentile's (non Israelite) seen in all Israel." Saying simply; it's the GRACE of God that searches the heart of ALL MAN (regardless of background).
In application; as I stated in the beginning ... we would love to be one that MARVELS God! We have seen here, it's not about us at all! It's humility, and having THE HEART AFTER GOD ON THE BEHALF OF OTHERS! [All as we have seen in the actions of this Centurion man.] PtL!
Let's cry to God, for the souls of all man/womankind: who is dying and going to hell. For those who are in hopelessness; living in darkness.
All for the lost, sinners, the homeless, our family, friends, co-workers, peers, neighbors, leaders and so on.
Please: after the GOD OF THE UNIVERSE...for their lives!
I guarantee you, as you do the Lord will see your hearts and truly be MARVELED!

A word by Daneille Gray Snowden

Did ya know how WE walk those who see and follow us will walk the same (basically).
When my adult son would be walking; from a distance he appeared as if his dad was there (instead it was him): i.e.- posture, swag and pace.

As one who has surrendered their life to Christ; how do you (& I) walk? Those following us, do they see Jesus in the places we frequent? What we eat? Drink (stressed here), language that comes out of our mouths (where the heart speaks); our social, our work...and on?

LIVE out your life:  so close to Jesus that others can also live out their lives fully, holy (yes holy) and prosper. When we look at our children, family & friends & see them living out their lives in completion to God's plan BECAUSE.... WE LIVED THIS LIFE STYLE OUT BEFORE THEM - it's worth it all!

Galatians 5:7 "You were running [the race] well; who has interfered and prevented you from obeying the truth?"
v. 25  "If we [claim to] live by the [Holy] Spirit, we must also walk by the Spirit [with personal integrity, godly character, and moral courage—our conduct empowered by the Holy Spirit]."
Ezekiel 36:26  "Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you, and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

I giggle as I write this, for my New Zealand friends call their mothers: Mum and I know other countries do as well. So, yes; I agree, we all should love our moms/mums!
But, this is a very short little heart felt blog about one of my favorite flowering plants; Fall Mums! They speak FALL with all their luscious colors, don't they!
When my children were wee little, we lived by Amish country, where our home school group scheduled every year to visit a mum farm. Now, these mums were HUGE! I remember my first time, I just stood and stared for about 5 minutes as I felt greatly overwhelmed. But, with my excited emotions taking over my feet, quickly I got a shovel and began digging up my sweet flowers.
When I got home, we planted them in my front yard along my walking path; and faithfully they popped up every year. I believe because of the amazing Amish farmers skills, we were able to attain the best quality of fall mums one could buy; i.e. - why they came up every year. That is not suppose to be the case. In order for that to happen, mums should be planted in the spring and gently cultivated.
So, again this year my husband brought home a pot of yellow mums to add to our fall décor outside.
This year, I decided to repot them so they would grow and become hardy (and last longer).
When we all purchase our mums from a store (not a farm like I use to); we find the poor things are 'root-bound'. The roots have no place to go, plus in my case here there is very little soil. Many folks just keep their precious plants in these disposable pots and find their plants only last a few weeks. Please, let me encourage you to RE-POT asap! Just get a pot that is a little bigger than the one it is currently in, add good healthy soil, loosen the roots and place them in. Voilà! Ya got a healthy mum that will keep you happy for several weeks to come!
Now make sure your mum gets at least 4 hours of sun each day. The brighter the color, the more sun it needs. Hey, we can take that to a personal application couldn't we? We want to not only shine bright, but be colorful and well pleasing -- then we must spend more time in the presence of the Son (of God) and feast in the soil of His Word.
Remember to water, at least 1x a week. Not over abundance, but decent. And when a bloom has died; just snip it off so more can bloom. It saves energy and causes the nutrients to reproduce and flow into more blooms.
So, this year I am going to bring my mum in after the frost. To do this, I must put it in a cool (32 - 50 degrees F), very dark place so it can hibernate. Keep the roots most (by checking on them weekly with a bit of watering). Then, I will slowly acclimate the plant back into the outdoors in the Spring (making sure there is no more freezing weather).

Like I told you earlier, I was able to winterize my mums from the Amish country. To do this means
continuous care through out the fall, spring, and summer. It can be done! Use the Old Farmer's Almanac for guidance on when and where to plant. They are awesome to give you great information about this.
Probably like me, you LOVE the Fall and embrace the colors, crisp mornings, changing leaves, and the yummy food delights it all brings. I sure hope ya all enjoy this season together as a family first. Create memories that will be treasured in your children and grandchildren's hearts for life. Make a scarecrow together, create fallish décor all around. Go to an apple orchard and a pumpkin patch; I treasure those days that were filled with laughter and fun.

Today, we are going to put up our yearly scarecrow family, with the hay bails, pumpkins and mums. Then, make a new craft together as well.
Send me a comment here and on facebook of your pretty mums and fall décor! Take care and C YA ON THE NET!

2011 - note we were remodeling. :)

I keep a notebook for my morning devotions. I use to do it all the time; then the past few years I just stopped. God has answered one of my many prayers (recently); which is to only grow hungrier for Him. Thus, the notebook; it amazes me how each day is like a special surprise my Father has for me as I climb up in His Lap to hear what all He has to say! I so enjoy getting up in the mornings for this very thing.

With my coffee and breakfast at my side; I pick up a devotionals and Bible; my 2 steady devotional books are: God Calling & My Utmost For His Highest, and maybe once every couple months I will read, Come Away My Beloved. Lately, I have my phone by my side and I use it for word studies (in the Greek & Hebrew), topic studies, and historical background study from a passage of scripture and such. Then comes out my notebook and I write away. God takes me deeper and deeper as I examine each passage.

His Word is truly life! [Heb. 4:12] I breath deeper when I read (and study) God's Word. My mind becomes clearer and my heart is FULL of peace as well. I feel creativity pumping in, and vision (seeing God's purpose for my day). Ya know, I feel a confidence that stems from feasting on the Meat of the inspired Words of my God!

I have heard a lot lately of my God's Word being twisted to fit individuals chosen lives; no matter what they may be. As I was doing scripture memory with my teenage daughter; trying to impress in her the vital importance of getting the true meaning of God's Word firmly pressed in her mind and heart... [Sometimes (as we all have done) she will get a word wrong, or put them in the wrong places.] I told her, "Would you like it if someone misquoted you, and it changed up everything you had said?" Of course her answer is like any of ours would be; "No, not at all!" I am sure God feels the same as He spoke through John in Revelations 22:18 "For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:" He's quite serious about this, wouldn't you say? YET...
some adhere to  certain sins cause they only believe all what Jesus said directly in the New Testament. Ignorance, and if not ignorance; then it's just rebellion  adhering to this twisted adherence of theology. We serve a Triune  God; which means unity (3 in one). Thus, the Holy Spirit (which is part of the triune Godhead) breathed into (inspired) all who were ordained to write the scriptures we read today, in the Old & New Testament. Jesus says in Lu. 15 that apart from Christ; man is cut off from God; thus we MUST embrace the entirety of the Word of God.
The Word of God is given (BY INSPIRATION) for 4 different reasons: [2Tim. 3:16]
1.) Doctrineparticular principle taught / Greek- didaché: established teaching
2.) Reproof: the act of rebuking / Greek- elegxis:  brand of conviction that rebukes sin
3.) Correctionproposed for what is wrong or inaccurate / Greek- kolasis: chastisement, punishment
4.) Instruction: knowledge or information imparted / Greek- didaskalia: teaching  extends to its necessary lifestyle
- Read the Amplified Version (uses the original language): "All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage];"

My minds eye goes back to Deut. 6 where parents are instructed to teach (the Law) to their the Epistles the Holy Spirit uses the words: "Train up a child in the way he should go." God is our Father, He is training, we His children- so we may grow and mature becoming SHARPENED INSTRUMENTS; being used for the betterment of others and defeating our enemies.

We live in a very dark world, one filled with total ignorance what is in Bible. The weak part of man has become his ruler...led only by slothfulness, lust, greed and self gratification. If the church of Jesus Christ would pray for MORE OF HIM, He will draw us in! How, by leading us in His Word to places He knows we need for each moment in our lives.

Encourage others to study God's Word, share with your loved ones what all He is showing you as you study deeply in the Bible. Be a LIGHTHOUSE, shining out the Light of Hope stemmed by spending time with your Heavenly Father.

Money is most definitely tight these days. And for some the belt is quite snug! [Wink]

I read a quaint blog article how to give when you don't have nothing to give. There was some excellent ideas in there and my hat is off to the author.

First of all, no matter who you are: a child, parent, single mom, single dad, elderly, jobless or your budget is tied up in shoelaces - YOU STILL HAVE SOMETHING TO GIVE!

Deuteronomy 16:17 "Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which He has given you."

Tangible gifts are fun, yes? I like to receive them and give them as I am able. Yet, I will share with you that the gifts I treasure the most, are the one's from the heart; that were either words written on a paper from my husband and children, as well as home made crafty gifts from others. They seem to touch the deepest part of my soul and the gifts I truly treasure.

Allow me to share with you some ideas for you as the giver to give; even when your pockets are empty.

1.) A Letter / Poem / That conveys your heart and care for the particular individual.

2.) Love Tokens: Made of scrap materials such as wood, cloth or paper. On them you can write things like this is good for a walk in the park, another can be for a cup of tea; etc...

3.) Make a homemade card.

4.) Do you have flowers in your yard? Like roses, and such? Dry them for potpourri; make sachets. Or just cut some and give as a gift.

5.) I have plants: I root new growths and start a new plant. Give a plant with a special note.

6.) Food is a winner! Bake some cookies, zucchini bread, or a pie.

7.) Clean their yard, or house for them.

8.) Offer to babysit their children.

9.) Listen, just listen -- don't talk about you; let them just share their heart.

10.) Make a prayer journal for them; and tell them that they are listed in your prayer journal too.

11.) Design on your computer nifty scripture posters. If you can't do that; make them with crafts you have on hand.

12.) Give your person a night off from cooking and prepare the meal.

13.) Make a DVD of pictures of your friendship, or family whatever you know they would treasure.

14.) Give a backrub (preferably if it's someone in your family).

15.) Fix a picnic and go enjoy at a nice park or in the back yard.

16.) Can you draw? My daughter is an artist; she has drawn portraits for people. If not, you can take a picture, print it out and frame it. I always have old frames around the house. Plus, you can make cute frames with just about anything.

17.) Can ya sew: a cute handbag, pillow that is uniquely from you is a treasure.

18.) Sing, sing a song! Especially to grandparents, uncles & aunts...etc.

19.) Left-overs? Take a meal to a neighbor or someone you know would not just appreciate but need a thoughtful gesture.

20.) Just think, what makes you as unique as you are. That is who the people in your life love; use that special character trait to share your heart to everyone.

21.) Pray for people, and tell others about God's Love for them.
It truly is the best gift of all, and it cost His Son His life!

I sure hope this helps ya out, and encourages you to give and give some more!

Lord bless,

Prov. 22:9 "He who is generous will be blessed..."

1)      Emanate God’s Word which is true life that bears fruit upon fruit in the life of your child. May God’s Word constantly flow out of your spirit in the things you do for your child, teach your child to do and speak life and hope into his/her spirit.

Psalms 62:8  “Trust in him at all times; ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. Selah.”

    2)      Pour out, emanate your heart to God daily. There will times where the emotion of ‘overwhelming’ will arise. God our Father longs for His children to POUR –OUT their hearts to Him. Cry, meditate…on His Word and His Presence. This is where you will find the peace and strength needed to be all what God has purposed in your life.  “Seek the Lord with all your heart.”

3)      To Be Able To Emanates God in your life; as the anointing oil/perfume jars of ‘old’ – we must be BROKEN. It’s uncomfortable, painful, humbling but ESSENTIAL. I.E. : ESSENTIAL OILS. These oils were made from trees, herbs, roots, fruits, flowers that had to be torn, crushed, bruised, boiled and steamed. All to be able to EMANATE a sweet and HEALING FRAGRANCE of healing to others. [I had given Kristen special Anointing Oil as a wedding gift.]

Five broken things in the Bible and the results achieved by them:

1) Broken pitchers (Judges 7:18,19) and the light shone out

2) A Broken Box (Mark 14:3) and the ointment was poured out

3) Broken Bread (Matt 14:10) and the hungry were fed

4) A Broken Body (I Cor 11:24) and the world was saved

5) A Broken will (Psa 51:17) and a life of fulfillment in Christ

4)      Then One Day…Emanate Means to ‘Send Forth’ – As a mother whose first love is Jesus; your heart will be to prepare your child to not just live out a Christian life; but touch other lives for the Kingdom of God.  This begins at a young age so your child will be able to minister to his friends and family to the love of Christ. One day as well Kristen in about 18 to 20 years; you will also be sending your Miracle forth to this world. May that be your goal not letting go or saying goodbye but; SENDING THEM FORTH…forward into the awesome path God has already ordained for them.

Judges 7:18,19

7:18 When I and all who are with me blow our trumpets, you also blow your trumpets all around the camp. Then say, ‘For the Lord and for Gideon!’” 19 Gideon took a hundred men to the edge of the camp at the beginning of the middle watch, just after they had changed the guards. They blew their trumpets and broke the jars they were carrying.

Mark 14:3

14:3 Now while Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, reclining at the table, a woman came with an alabaster jar of costly aromatic oil from pure nard. After breaking open the jar, she poured it on his head.

Matt. 14:14b Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves.”

I Cor 11:24 Description:

11:24 and after he had given thanks he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

Psa 51:17 (NET)

51:17 The sacrifices God desires are a humble spirit – O God, a humble and repentant heart you will not reject.

Philippians 4:4
Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!"

Let's take a quick look at the word REJOICE -

RE: in the  Latin, used with the meaning “again” or “again and again” to indicate repetition.

REJOICE: To experience joy and gladness in a high degree; to be exhilarated with lively and pleasurable sensations; to exult. [KJBP]

Sometimes, days get pretty tuff and quite long. Pain and sickness can be a true 'downer' for most all of us!
Then there is heart break; even the individuals closest to us are capable of inflicting  painful afflictions to our souls.
Financial, and emotional struggle can bring a person to the 'dumps' as well.

Yet, the Apostle Paul writing from a prison; commands the Philippian church (and the Church today) to REJOICE! Anointed by the Holy Spirit; applying it to his own struggles he tells us even in our sufferings to experience God's Joy!

But, the sentence doesn't end with just the word rejoice; it tells us where (and basically how) to rejoice: IN THE LORD!  [Rejoice in  : to have, possess  (Webster).]  Take hold of JOY, found IN JESUS and HIS PRESENCE! Picture this; you are alone in the Presence of the Great King of Kings. God's love, peace, strength, and joy emanates from His Thrown; this is when we reach out and POSSESS this Joy! Possessing this makes you now the owner of God's Joy in you!

Many times, depression is not dissipated because we seek temporary joy in - financial success, good looks, health, notoriety, etc...  Those things are not wrong in themselves; but are only temporary and do not possess the ETERNAL TRUTH of the JOY (happiness) found in Jesus being our true Lord (ruler).

This word (rejoice) is used 74 times in the New testament, 9 of which are in the book of Philippians.
Remember;  Paul was a prisoner when he wrote this personal letter. It's theme being suffering and joy.

"Ancient Rome's attitudes toward life and death were bleak. Humans had no option other than to simply accept the ultimate futility of their aspirations and wishes." (link) The Philippian church  was struggling to follow Christ and they lived in a society filled with false gods and perverse living. Sound familiar?

From this place of extreme  suffering, Paul actually reflects that cultural background. YET- with one crucial difference: he offers joy from this place.

The Greek term for rejoice is chairo: to be cheerful , or calmly happy to describe a behavior and attitude or to greet or bid farewell.

Our behavior is [REMEMBER: COMMANDED] to be cheerful when we greet others and bid them farewell!   {I.E.- "hello" in Italian is "ciao"}   "It’s not optional. Rejoicing in the Lord is commanded. If we are rejoicing in the Lord we are living in obedience to God’s Word."
  [Kevin A. Pierpont]

I have a friend who has been crippled her entire life. I have watched her walk with an extreme limp, but wear the biggest smile. As I sit with her in a crowd of people, it's her laughter that resounds above others. Even today, as she suffers with so much pain and in a wheel chair; she is the one hugging others as well as filling the place she is in with an abundance of joy.
Oswald Chambers said…
"The Bible nowhere speaks about a "happy" Christian; it talks plentifully of joy. Happiness depends on things that happen, and may sometimes be an insult: joyfulness is never touched by external conditions, and a joyful heart is never an insult."
When the emotion of depression tries to jump on you and stomp your spirits down. The best response is to REJOICE IN THE LORD! It may take some effort, fortitude and much determination; yet as you do; I can tell you from experience the Presence of our mighty God will lift your heart to great strength found in His Joy!
Psalm 33:1  Rejoice in the LORD, O you righteous! For praise from the upright is beautiful.
