When I was 7 years old I was born again! Five years later, the Lord filled me with His Holy Spirit and called me out to serve in full time service in the ministry. My heart is missions and a longing to love people into God's Kingdom.
I love to teach God's Word, pray with people and write.
Soon, we are hoping our Jesus opens amazing doors to walk into mission endeavors.

As we all are basking in this blissful holiday season, I find myself telling my loved-ones: 'Merry CHRISTmas' on their Christmas cards. As I do, my mind's eyes peers back to the night when the greatest event ever happened: the birth of our all powerful, loving Savior- JESUS!

The simple, yet direct assignment to Joseph was indisputable! That is to name the baby of whom Mary will give birth to; Jesus! In the Hebrew Jesus is Yeshua; which means to 'rescue', to 'deliver' and to 'save'.
Matthew 1:21 "She will bear a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus [the Greek form of the Hebrew Joshua, which means Savior], for He will save His people from their sins [that is, prevent them from failing and missing the true end and scope of life, which is God]." [ampl.]

Yahu in the Hebrew word Yeshua, stands for God [YHWH: which is a saving cry].The second part of Yeshua is yasha which means to deliver, save, or rescue. When someone says my name (and in my case actually pronounces it correctly) my ears perk and my attention has been retrieved. When God's children cry out; "JESUS," the saving cry is spoken. God's attention is grasped with the results of being rescued. For His Hand is not shortened that He cannot save! [Is. 59:1]  Today, we have the Koine Greek term for Jesus Iesous. When the Bible was written in Late Latin, we attained the English Name - Jesus. It doesn't matter if we speak His Name in Spanish, German, Arabic or so on...He will hear us, and will save!

Our Heavenly Father gave us so many riches when He sent His Son on the earth. When Jesus came, He didn't come empty handed. He came with riches the world cannot give or fathom. The first thing we all knew about was His Name. In Isaiah 7:14, the prophet Isaiah declared, "Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call Him Immanuel [God with us.]."  GOD WITH US! He gave us the Presence of God, the amazing opportunity to KNOW Him intimately! To have an inner link to His heart when we cry out His Name! Glory to God!

Jesus is the Christ; the son of the Living God! This was said quite boldly by the Apostle (then Disciple) Peter. Christ was tagged onto the Name of Jesus because He was the 'Anointed One'! Christ comes from the Greek word christos, which means anointed one. The direct definition of anointed; is to have oil poured on your head because God has chosen them for a special work. Anointed was mostly referred to kings as they were anointed for their throne. The great KING OF KINGS, came to this earth in the most humblest of forms as an infant; born to poor parents in a filthy stable. Yet, it didn't change the anointing....He was anointed as King to do the work of saving the lost, heal the hurting, and bring Joy and Hope to all men.

We still have His Name today, there is joy, hope and even peace that only Jesus Christ can bring by one's calling on His Name - Jesus and then, they will be saved. [Acts 2:21]   When we are in danger, we call on His Name and YHWH is with us! There have been countless times, especially driving in the large cities we had lived in and foreseen danger was obvious, I would scream; "Jesus!" It worked! My husband's heart raced for awhile, but we have seen this countless times. The devil has to flee at the Name of Jesus!  We have prayed for individuals or been in situations that we knew there was a demonic presence, yet by calling on His Name, with authority; the enemy HAD TO FLEE!

To think we have been given the Name of Jesus to be applied to all the areas of our lives, is the best CHRISTmas present anyone could ever dream of having. In turn, I want to thank my Lord; my loving God, for giving Jesus to us and I vow to glorify Him all the days of my life.

Isaiah 9:6

Amplified Bible (AMP)
"For to us a Child is born, to us a Son is given; and the government shall be upon His shoulder, and His name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father [of Eternity], Prince of Peace."

By Daneille Gray Snowden

Saeed Abidini, a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and an American citizen has been imprisoned for over a year in Iran. He was arrested as he was opening an orphanage. Beaten, hungry, laying in a dark prison; Saeed has been able to lead several to Christ. God has opened doors to hurting souls; hidden away from the rest of the world; to shed His Glorious Light on them.
We as Christians love to read about others who God is using, even in their own adverse circumstances. We find ourselves admiring our brothers and or our sisters in the Lord who face difficulties and triumph by reaching out to others. And, we should admire them as well rejoice as God is using the circumstance to infuse the Gospel into the deepest and darkest places of a man's soul.
Yet, everywhere I can turn my little head I see people all around in their own particular prisons. Some our self built. But, many more are in prison's of depravity, pain, loneliness, hurt and so on.. Even in our free country; we see this. My question for the church of Jesus Christ is; "What are you doing in your prison?" Jesus instructed; "...occupy till I come." [Luke 19:13] Occupy means to; take up space, engage yourself, to take possession or control of the place or situation. The opposite would be to; stay in bed, hide under the covers and lick our wounds. It's a choice we as humans, and as Christians make; on how we will OCCUPY ourselves while we are in this prison. I can hear the 'self-help' so called theologians grunting, or the 'Name-It-Claim-It' folks squirreling in their seats.  Difficult times come, they are used to form us and grow us. But, it's not always about us either, it's about the souls who we encounter in the prison, i.e. your life at the time.
Read Genesis 40, how can we not agree that God had His hand on Joseph as he was in a very dark, damp and filthy prison. He was like a Prince in his father's (Jacob's) house; yet he was emotionally stabbed in the back by his own family, lonely, and misinterpreted by the people he did serve. Still yet, his one on one time with his God, proved his godly character.  "But the Lord was with Joseph, and showed him mercy and loving-kindness and gave him favor in the sight of the warden of the prison." [Gen. 39:21] Joseph continued his ongoing walk with His Lord by reaching out to others.
God used Joseph WHILE IN PRISON! So many ask me as a minister; "Why do I have to suffer like this? What else am I to do?" Anymore, as I have been through my own (prison) times in life, I just answer with a deeper understanding; "I don't know, but I do know that now you are on a unique platform to touch and minister in a new light."  Read Pastor Saeed's letter he wrote to us as he was (and still is) in prison last year; LETTER FROM SAEED ABEDINI. [CLICK LINK] God has used our brother and many more in their prison's. I also think of Joni Eareckson Tada [from
Theology of Suffering -click link) As she shared her story when she raised the same questions on why am I in this prison; God sent her a wise man of God who said; "God permits what He hates, to accomplish that what He loves." (Pastor Smith). As Joni's body is imprisoned being a quadriplegic,  suffering tremendous pain daily and who even faced cancer; her voice and her ministry only has increased.
Jesus, was imprisoned, beaten and even murdered. What did He do in His prison? How did Peter, Paul, and the other Apostles in the New Testament 'OCCUPY' themselves in their prisons? They sought their Heavenly Father, they worshiped and they reached to others! Even in their sufferings.
Pastor Brad Snowden suffers daily, yet
How are you OCCUPYING right now? God does care about our pain, and the suffering--He does lift the burden. He still delivers and heals. Yet, I believe that like fruit being squeezed to produce sweet juice, or seeds dying to only bring more fruit, that in our prisons of suffering God can produce more for the Kingdom. Yes, He tells us to 'Ask' and it shall be given. This is why many right now are fasting and praying for Pastor Abidini's release. Yet, as we go through this time; may we produce more for the harvest of souls for the Kingdom of God by OCCUPYING till He comes!

IN ADDITION: Listening to one of my favorite Bible teachers today (Chip Ingram) he talked about Paul in prison. [Reference in Phil. 1] The emperor had 9 to 10 thousand troops of body guards called the Praetorian Guard.
They all had shifts of every 6 hours to be chained to the Apostle Paul. Chip asked; "What happens when you are chained to Paul?" They heard the Gospel, and thus the Gospel was spread to the utter parts of the earth.
You see; "Paul looked at his prison through the lenses of purpose."
Phil. 1:16 "The latter [proclaim Christ] out of love, because they recognize and know that I am [providentially] put here for the defense of the good news (the Gospel)." [HERE=PRISON]
v.20 " as always heretofore, Christ (the Messiah) will be magnified and get glory and praise in this body of mine and be boldly exalted in my person, whether through (by) life or through (by) death."
v.22 "If, however, it is to be life in the flesh and I am to live on here, that means fruitful service for me; so I can say nothing as to my personal preference [I cannot choose],"

By Daneille Gray Snowden   (c)Daneille Snowden

I have counselled and held some conversations just within this past week with people who are really 'STRESSED' and presently seeing their lives in chaos. Some are committed servants in God's Kingdom, working hard daily serving Him full time. Other's are parents, and grandparents that never dreamed of life being so crazy! None have stated that they were enjoying themselves either. No, quite the contrary; they are being stretched and beginning to break.
I have been there, you have too and likely-we will be possibly again. We live in a world full of evil, with people unknowingly (mostly) serving this evil too. Without any firm foundation; the buildings will crumble.
I Corinthians 3:11"For no one can lay a foundation other than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ."
Chaos means a total lack of order. Lack means nothing, zero, just plain ole' empty! When Jesus died on the cross, breaking down all barriers between man and God; God designed it that our omnipresent, Triune Godhead can fill our lives completely. Thus, when we invite Jesus to come and live within our hearts, there is NO LACK. Chaos within is impossible!
Yet, things happen don't they? Out of nowhere (seemingly) sickness comes, including; pain, financial struggles and people hurting us and or our loved ones in various ways. This reminds me of an innocent group of men, faithfully following Jesus. As they were out in the boat, a dark and violent storm over took them. These storms had the reputation of destroying fishing boats and drowning those within. Thus, these men were doing all they could to stay afloat and ALIVE! Then...look who they see coming towards them; Jesus, the one who fills a soul in the midst of any and all storms and brings great peace. For a moment, even when Peter was walking toward the Lord on the water I might add; He was overcome by focusing on the storm itself. Yet, our Lord's Hand was right there to bring Peter strait out, back to safety, and commanding the storm saying: "Peace be still!"
Please let me encourage you, regardless of the pain you are in; i.e. the chaos you are facing; Jesus does bring Peace by calming the storm. First, the calming will begin in you. It must, for as we SEEK Him, (thus we SEE Him) then we begin to KNOW Him. Developing a deep confidence that All Is Well (a constant quote I have heard most of my life from my Preacher Dad). After that, we will see the storm quiet down and find ourselves once again back on the shore again.

Inspired by the Holy Spirit through His daughter Daneille Gray Snowden

Neh. 3:6 "The Old Gate Joiada son
of Paseah and Meshullam son
 of Besodeiah repaired.
They laid its beams and
set up its doors, its bolts,
 and its bars."

I was recently reading in Nehemiah, God directed me to this passage and today; it has only impacted my spirit even more. We recall in ch. 1 that he is told about the disastrous state of his homeland, as it had been obliterated by their enemies. He prays and fasts for 4 months. Later the King gives him favor to go build the walls (ch.2). Then on down in ch. 2:11-15; he rides (in the night ALONE) on his horse/donkey (he called a beast) and surveys the walls as he prays to his God. The result: God uses him to get the walls up in 52 days!
This caused me to think of the 'state' of the family; especially Church families. The stat.'s state that when a youth hits 18 about 80% leave the church (most develop their own religion-thus leaving God). It is time we cry, fast and pray over the families. I look at one's who have small children; they have an opportunity NOW; to Shepherd their hearts in the ways of God. As parents we must have diligence teaching them God's Word, teaching them to serve and give. Also, by practical application; teach them to pray through as well, to be faithful and really fall in love with Jesus.

We have a work to be done Brother's and Sister's. As it started with Nehemiah, so it starts with us!

Neh. 2:20 "I answered them, The God of heaven will prosper us; therefore we His servants will arise and build, but you have no portion or right or memorial in Jerusalem."

DATING YOUR SPOUSE
My husband Brad and I went on what we called a date today. Well, we both was an effort date
that flopped. But, the effort was the fact. We got away in the afternoon, driving thirty minutes to our destination. As we drove- the agenda was set; we eat, then he drops me off at Wal Mart, he gets new tires put on our van, then finally, we drive home. What's funny this was 'ok' for both of us. The effort and the special one on one time, was there. Also, we know that one day soon, we will have another date and work a bit harder on the romantic part soon. [Smile]

This did cause me to dwell a bit on dating our spouses. I was thinking back though the years on our little dates we had before kids; wow there were several and fancy. We painted the town red! Then the offspring came; slowing down the dating scene to a rarity. Anyone ever been there? If we did get away we would be a bit nervous being separated from our babies.

I want to encourage all couples to start dating your spouse REGULARLY; at the least monthly, better yet: bi-weekly!
- Husbands, ask your Bride out on a date? Be creative on how you do this. Woman love creativity, effort and romance. You do will be rewarded!
- Wives on occasion, surprise your man at lunch with a picnic. Men tend to like their woman's cooking; try kicking the kids out of the house and make him an amazing meal.
- So what if ya don't have the $Doe...creativity makes the date all the more fun and romantic.
*Go to a park.  *Drive out in the country...parking is fun too!  *Share a milkshake, and just laugh.   *I had friends who watched movies in their van.  *Your own home/bedroom -- nice music and a candle lit table.   *Make a campfire and roast marshmallows (in your backyard) and just cuddle up.

It's not easy to spend this extra time with your husband or wife. Yet, no matter what; it should be a priority.
Spontaneity is fun, and planning can make it special. Like a well kept rose bush, a marriage needs cultivated and dating is an essential tool to help make it blossom.

“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds.” (Hebrews 10:24)

Ever heard that said? Faith really is believing w/o seeing. Or is it?
On a personal level for myself (& my family); as we have declared we only long to draw closer to our Lord, to be in His Perfect Will doing His Work to bless others. To escort one's who do not know Him as Lord in this saved/Savior relationship.

The storms arise and the darkness falls. Yet, to accomplish this, the unwavering faithful must be tried to be strengthened in the power of FAITH! We feel the inner man wavering. Emotions start taking over and despair blossoms out.
BLIND FAITH is it really blind? Not really, blindness is no sight. Our vision should be filled with the Presence of Jesus-stilling us and causing our souls to stand fast in the storms surmounting all around. Say His Name-JESUS! Get alone and call out and be still and KNOW He is God. Then with His Sheltering Arms stand and see the salvation of your God.
This is what we are doing as we face some of the greatest trials on every avenue. We would sink if we didn't.

Hold fast and see Jesus!

Exodus 14:3
"...Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, ..."

God's Plan of Suffering

God's Plan of Suffering
by Daneille Gray Snowden
I do not know one person, who in their personal lives are not facing some type of suffering. All of us will grieve, many of us have been and yes will be ill in one type or form. All of us will be emotionally hurt by others. Lastly, we will experience exhaustion to the point of being burned out.
In my life, God enriched me, by living in a very godly atmosphere.  I was then, and still am surrounded by His Love and Presence to the point I find myself greatly humbled.
Growing up in the ministry I was avowed the opportunity to learn more about my God by traveling down unique roads that pastors, and most ministers do take. We would be in homes where people were suffering from loss, abuse, illness, poverty and family struggles. We kids were blessed being there when our parents would pray through with these particular individuals seeing lives transformed.
BUT....this made the enemy of our God quite angry. Thus the battles began in countless forms. He is evil and wants to destroy the children of God! If He can get us to question God's Word and His Love by using the instrument of suffering then he has done his job! As a child I was sexually abused by my step grandfather, my mother was seriously ill (and eventually died in my arms), people were quite cruel to my family, we suffered poverty, and discouragement. YET...we experienced countless miracles, and was filled with great joy and peace within our hearts. Of course, being confident in our hope for eternity, assured knowing that one day we will hear God's Voice say; "Well done!"
In my adult life, my family and I have had such amazing and vast experiences. We have not only traveled through out this country but lived from one side to another. Experiencing some really fun and enlightening things. We love to go down memory lane together. Again; the more God would use us the more intense the attacks on our lives became. Increasing to a place where total exhaustion has wore us out. My husband's health is serious as he is still a father of children in the home. I must admit, I have come to the place of total bewilderment, exhaustion, burn-out, hurt, dismay, ending up at  very low place. Not realizing that this is a good place. "WHAT? Daneille, did you really say suffering is a good place? Are you nuts?" Well, I can say that I am peculiar but not crazy. I recently just heard a minister talk about the 'lowest place'. Being at that low place where we are no longer in control, so low that God's Presence (flowing as a river) just flows all over us. This is a good thing!
I had been writing articles on suffering last year: when someone, who really did write to me in love, but not in true understanding of godly suffering; really 'blasted' me on writing about this subject matter. Their scriptural support came from the 'Word of Faith' belief system. Just simply stating that my parents must  must have enjoyed suffering, and as well as ourselves. At the end of her letter she simply stated: this is why we were still suffering. I promise you, my family and I do not take pleasure seeing my husband seriously ill. Yet, we rejoice in our sufferings! [Rom. 5:3]
My daughter and I have been talking about this a lot lately. She has grown so mature for her age in her spiritual walk. Her understanding of the scriptures, and her godly character all have revealed to me this has been a priceless growing experience. She and I were sharing on how some avoid really talking to us in deep conversations; the Holy Spirit revealed that it's simply a 'lack' of understanding regarding 'SUFFERING'. People usually avoid what they do not understand.
So, I want to do something a bit unique for me. I want to share with you from a book regarding this subject. The first book being:  'Don't Waste Your Sorrows' by Paul Billheimer. If you are going through a difficult trial. Please know that you are not alone. First, Jesus is right there and 2nd, there are many brothers and sisters who are suffering as well. Just stay the course. Draw even closer to the One Who Loves You Best- JESUS. on and try to purchase this book if you can. [Click on highlighted link.]
Preface:  [Quotes & Notes]
"Suffering is a prerequisite for overcoming." [Rev. 3:21]
"God ...designed that SUFFERING, which is consequence of the fall, shall produce the CHARACTER and DISPOSITION, the compassionate spirit which will be required for rulership in a government where THE LAW OF LOVE IS SUPREME."
"Because tribulation is necessary for the decentralization's of self and the development of deep dimensions of agape love, this love can be developed only in the school of suffering."
" why the greatest saints are the greatest sufferers."
"...deep dimensions of [God's] of [Agape] Love are learned only through the school of suffering."
"If we suffer, we shall also reign' - because where there is little suffering, there is little love; no suffering, no love; no love, no rulership."

Chapter 1
2 Corinthians 4:17-18
"For our light, momentary affliction (this slight distress of the passing hour) is ever more and more abundantly preparing and producing and achieving for us an everlasting weight of glory [beyond all measure, excessively surpassing all comparisons and all calculations, a vast and transcendent glory and blessedness never to cease!],
18 Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen; for the things that are visible are temporal (brief and fleeting), but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting."
Affliction: (Greek) pressure, anything causing pain or distress; implies any sorrow, suffering or heartache imposed by illness, loss misfortune, etc.
"We never learn anything new about God except by adversity." Watchman Nee
Psalms 119:67, 71
"Before I was afflicted I went astray, but now Your word do I keep [hearing, receiving, loving, and obeying it].
It is good for me that I have been afflicted, that I might learn Your statutes."
'Worketh': [Wycliff Bible Commentary] create
Our light affliction is CREATING an eternal weight of glory.
Romans 8:18
[But what of that?] For I consider that the sufferings of this present time (this present life) are not worth being compared with the glory that is about to be revealed to us and in us and for us and conferred on us!

Romans 5:3-5
"Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
And endurance (fortitude) develops maturity of character (approved faith and tried integrity). And character [of this sort] produces [the habit of] joyful and confident hope of eternal salvation.
Such hope never disappoints or deludes or shames us, for God’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit Who has been given to us."

"In a fallen world, suffering of some kind is universal. There is no permanent release or escape from it, either by rank, holy living, health or wealth."
John 16:33
"...In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration;..."
End of Chapter 1 of   Don't Waste Your Sorrows .
Chapter 10
"If God healed everyone immediately where would be the opportunity for character training? If He delivered everyone the first call, where would be the opportunity for the perseverance that creates character."
"To many it's a mystery how a subjective attitude toward an objective situation can so modify its effect that pure "evil" is transformation into a sublime dimension of "good."
"Rank in heaven will be determined not by magnetic personality, glittering talents, towering intellect ... but by the depth and quality of one's love."
Job's Decentralization
"Before he suffered, Job knew God by reputation only. Afterward, he said, Now mine eye seeth Thee."
Before his trial he argued with God afterwards, he repents.
1 Peter 4:1  "Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin."
"...then all afflictions of every kind that are not removed in answer to prayer should be understood as God's way of disciplining character into the pattern of God likeness which is fitting one specifically for his particular role in the ages to come."
Paul says to glory in tribulation, this in turn serves us to achieve God's purpose within us.
"If we fight against it by SELF PITY and REBELLION, by MURMURING and COMPLAINING ...- we are wasting our sorrows."
"If a child of God could actually see into the future and fully visualize the exalted rank that the school of suffering is creating for him, it would be easier to glory in tribulation -which often immerses him in deep depression."

Our “Millennial Generation”

Our “Millennial Generation”
by Daneille Gray Snowden

The “Millennial Generation” (under 30 yrs of age) is in
need of  zealous prayers by you- Prayer Warriors!  We
all can agree in our own lives (and even families) that on
a continual basis we are seeing the belief system of young
people not deteriorating  but actually deteriorated! I know
this sounds quite hopeless...but we never stop as parents
who BELIEVE IN GOD;  having hope that God will rise
up this generation! He is pretty good about raising the

This generation of young adults has been lost in the society

of religion, for many years now. We cannot go back, but we
can start now by allowing the Holy Spirit to open our own
spiritual eyes to this truth. Just because our children have
attended church with us their entire lives, does NOT mean
they have an intimate relationship with Jesus. The HOME
is the foundation of their lives. What is allowed, what is
lived out, what is done and not done will be the core of any
child's belief system. Being diligent as a parent filled with
the Love and Grace that comes from spending our own time
alone with God is what will strengthen the spiritual chords
 of your child's foundations.

Read what renown writer and speaker on youth

[ Josh Mcdowell ] shares;  "While parents need to fear
what their children could be tempted to do, they need to
be more concerned with what their children are led to
believe Their attitudes and actions spring from their
value system, and their value system is based on what
 they believe."

In my talks with many parents,

 I constantly here them express
 with great frustrations, about
 their youth's attitudes.  Recall
what you just read; "...attitudes
 spring from their value system."
Isn't this where we need to begin
as parents, by going back to what
our own children value? Some may
laugh and say, "It's just a phase, I
did this too when I was there age."
  Don't disregard your children's
attitudes, ask God to reveal to you
what your child's value system is. I guarantee you, He indeed
will reveal some heavy stuff to you that will not be easy to
address. With  husband and wives together, addressing this
carefully with your child. Have you allowed ungodly music in
your home and in your child's spirit? [Question the lyrics,
the music videos, the life style of the vocalists...etc.] What
about television and movies? The reason this is difficult
because this also glides right into our own Value Systems
as well. But, we must ask- how much do we love our Lord
Jesus, as well as how much do we love our children? Sacrifice
to protect our children is worth it...wouldn't you agree? Please
parents, be careful who your teens decide to spend a great deal
of their time with. What is the value and belief system of these
individuals? We all know that this stage in a persons life is
the most formidable. Of course we do not want our children
isolated, but Godly wisdom is vital.  Lastly here, we also need
to help our children discover a Biblical Value System as well.
Starting with much prayer.  Pray and meditate, the Lord
 will direct your steps.

We also need to pray for the foundations to be sure

according to the Word of God. "Most teens in evangelical
churches today say they believe in the God of the Bible,
63 percent also believe Muslims, Buddhists, Christians,
Jews, and all other people pray to the same god, even
though they use different names for their god.  Though 87
percent of teens believe Jesus was a real person who came
to earth, and 78 percent believe He was born to a virgin,
nearly half (46 percent) believe He committed sins and
more than half (51 percent) say He died, but did not rise
from the dead."  [ Josh McDowell ]  Raising our children
faithfully in church is vital. But, making sure they
'know-that-they-know' what you as a Christian believe in
is far more important. Truth is, they can know (in their minds)
but still not have a relationship with Christ. KNOWING is a
faith act--realizing that there is a God; who did send His
Son to die for our sins and this same Son rose from the
dead, so all mankind (when they accept Him to live within
their hearts) may be saved. It is a response on what they
know, see, and feel within their own specific life. As a parent,
encourage them as as much as possible to pray with you,
gently ask them about their devotion and prayer life on their
own, is (as parents) a God given responsibility. I am
sorry to say, but this has slid through the hearts and
hands of most Christian parents.

Today's youth as we observe, have created their own

religion (belief systems). Yesterday, I spent the day with
my daughters at the city pool. I found my self observing
the young people, hearing their conversations, seeing
their dress & tattoos on their body and knowing some of
them personally. My heart just broke. You see, when
we are filled with God's Spirit; He bestows on us the vision
to see people's hearts. It's not hard to see the emptiness,
pain, anger, confusion; to see searching hearts. So, what
are they to do but to tailor their own Faith/Belief system.
Where they can feel some type of affirmant  in who they
are and then they have the release to do and say what they
please. I like what Josh McDowell said; "They are led to
believe it is better to construct a tailor-made faith that is
right for them by choosing from various concepts of God
and religion. They are being encouraged to piece their faith
together themselves; that way it will be right for them
personally, and will offend no one."  [ Josh McDowell ]

This is where the danger lies, our kids are living out life
styles that are destroying their bodies, relationships,
finances, mental health, and their souls! It is astounding
to see kids we all love start living out opposite what we
as parents believe in God's Word. Kids having babies,
literally believing in Zombies and making it their own
groupie religion, addicted to video games (playing them
all day long), alcohol is at a rise in this generation, free
thinkers and 80% of this age group will be "disengaged" in
their Christian faith and church before they are 30.
[Barna Group] They also will disengage more so from
their godly family (parents) and bind to those who are
'like-minded'. All viewing their parents, and the church from
their childhood as a nice but fruitless entity.  Newsweek
reporter John Leland discovered, “Even more than their
baby-boomer parents,'youth' often pick and choose what
works for them. … As they sample from various faiths,
students have become more accepting of each other’s
beliefs, even when those beliefs are stringent."
Initially they believe truth is not true for them until
 they choose to believe it!

What is our HOPE in all of this? The answer is WHO
ARE HOPE IS IN! Glory to God, Jesus still reigns! His
Power, His Grace, His love and His Promises still flow
continuously.  He has given us the opportunity to seek
His Face. He is not shaken, nor is He surprised ... but
He does really care! He wants us as mothers to hear
His Voice, be pliable in His Hands so He in turn can
use us to affect our children and pierce the darkness
that has invaded their lives. Fast and pray, pray through
till the peace of God has filled your hearts with that
affirming knowledge that 'All is Well'!

Pray for God to send you, and others to our children and
all young people to live out and speak out the Love of
Jesus. Pray that there are easy accessible opportunities
for young people to attend rally's,  concerts, revivals
that are geared for their age group but speak the untainted
true Word of God. Today is the day of salvation. Hold true
my sister...God will penetrate the heart of your son
and daughter. Stand still and see the true salvation of God!

Deuteronomy 19:15 "by the mouth of two or three
witnesses every word may be established."

Psalms 112:1,2  "Blessed is the man that fears
the Lord, that delights greatly in His
commandments. His seed shall be mightily
upon the earth the generation of the upright
shall be blessed."

Is 54:13,14   "All your children shall be taught by
the Lord, and great shall be the peace of your
children. In righteousness you shall be established;
you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear,
and from terror, for it shall not come near you."

"I am NOT who I was 4 years ago. Goodness, I am

not the same person I was last year. I don't think I

want to go back and be WHO I was...but look

forward to see daily who I am now and going to be

in the future."

Revelation 21:5a

"And He Who is seated on the throne said, See! I make all things new."

[Regarding the fiery trials of life (the 4 years for me is when the fire just got hotter).]
